If you don't take Samsung's word on their Renewed Phones web site that they put in a new battery, there's a free app called Accu-Battery that will monitor several charges to 100% and compares the charged amount against the battery's rated capacity. If it's 100% of rated capacity, it's (functionally) new.

Buying used from the internet vs renewed from Samsung is very different. Renewed is like a new phone, 100% new battery, new IMEI, full Samsung 1-year warranty and eligible for their paid extension. So not even close to a regular "mint" on on the used market.

S21/22/23 will only get you 4 years worth of updates, the S24 will get you 7 years of updates. The S22 is widely regarded as the worst pick due to reduced battery capacity etc. Better pick S23 or S24 if possible.
Otherwise consider the S24 FE which can be found on sale with some pre-paid carriers at times.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, I broke one of the cardinal rules of SD. I thought about it too long. Now the S24 is unavailable (only the S24+ and Ultra which aren't really a good deal). The S23 is available for $269 after trade in, but that doesn't really seem worth it anyway. Oh well, next time I'll act before I think.
I also have A52 5G and it is really a great phone! I still use it as my daily phone even though I recently bought S24 from this deal and also have S21 for like last 2 years. Nothing beats SD and audio jack! I used S21 and currently using S24 as gaming phone at home.

As other mentioned they restock periodically (often Tuesday) so you should check often, and unlike A52 S24 does not have SD card so 128gb can be limiting for many folks so consider grabbing 256gb version as it is only $50 more.

Do not go with an S23 Ultra. I'm on year two with mine and the battery life is absolutely atrocious. I've been a loyal Sammy fan since the Note 8 and I'm pretty sure this will be the last one I own. So little innovation for such a high price tag and with the days of getting amazing trade-in deals being gone there is so little incentive to stay loyal.

Thanks! I love my A32 5G (SD and 3.5mm jack FTW) and would keep using it, but am worried because it's no longer supported. I do things like banking and other sensitive activities andI don't know how safe it is to keep using an end-of-life phone. Maybe it's my paranoia.

Guessing you upgrade to One UI 7? It's destroyed battery life on the S24 and S24 series. I have the S24 Ultra and the battery life now sucks on my 15 month old phone so doubtful it's a battery issue and is for sure a software issue.

It actually started before I did the upgrade. I had hoped One UI 7 would fix it or at least make it a bit better. No dice. I've even tried a factory reset. I mistakenly thought these phones had a 2 year warranty so I was waiting to do warranty claim using my credit card. I'm now seeing they only have 1 year (sucks) so going to go that route now.

I would like to trade in a A16, but it is not in the list while A11, A15 are showing up. Can they detect my phone and exclude from the list?

Not op but I have an a15 5g and chat told me it can be used as an a15 trade in. I have a feeling they will reject it but who knows. Aren't they two different phones?

As a heads up to anyone doing this deal, you may want to take video of your factory reset phone before sending it in. I traded in a Pixel 3 and they rejected it due to it "not being factory reset." I had video of it being factory reset and could provide them proof of it. After a bit of back and forth, they eventually allowed my trade-in of $300. Not sure how common this is, but it was a bit frustrating that they were obviously being dishonest until I told them I had proof of it being factory reset.
