Thanks; that worked!

One review states the battery is also the charger.

Purchased as I have yardwork to do in a month and wanted something between the gas chainsaw and the pole saw. Hopefully the battery isn't terrible. Remember to oil the blades frequently.

edit: comes with a 24v 2.0ah battery that says it takes 5 hours to charge. Hopefully it will get the job done of cutting smaller branches once a dying fruit tree is taken out by the gas chainsaw (doubt this will take it out)

These small battery powered chainsaws are great. I've got a USB-charged Fantik 4" chainsaw, and I'm tickled at how well it works. Great for trimming low branches of trees and breaking down cut branches into smaller pieces that are easier to dispose or bundle.

I would have picked this up if the coupon worked. The link for the promo provided by RazorConcepts seems to limit this coupon to the mid-atlantic area.

I have this and love it. What I do not love is trying to find replacement chains. Feels like it's impossible at times.

if you have a sawzall / reciprocating saw, they work extremely well for trimming small branches as well. just made sure have a wood blade for it

Nope. I emailed sun joe twice and all i received back was that they are out of stock. Kinda feel duped on this. It worked great but Ive sharpened it several times and its pretty much toast now. Ive tried 2 off amazon, neither fit. There is one that I have yet to try by Opuladuo, $17.99... pretty much a last resort. I might attempt ugrading to the 6" as there seems to be more aftermarket chains for that.

thanks it's a 27 link drive chain, hard to find.
