Walmart just reduced the price for S24 Plus - $10 for 36months and S24 Ultra for $12 for 26 Months. So total financed amount will be S24 Plus - $360 or S24 Ultra $432 . NO this is not monthly credits as I upgraded my line and financed amount is $432.

This deal work better , if you have ATT/Verizon account with paid off line. Simply upgrade your line for either of the devices and pay off after 14 days online or at store in cash before 14 days for Verizon.

ATT will allow you to pay off same day or next day in full online but Verizon only allow after 14 days.

If you open new account or add a line, please note:

1. $35 activation/upgrade charges
2. Verizon - You can pay at store in full with in 3 days , and can cancel the line to avoid activation . You cannot do it online. So YMMV to find store that take cash for device payment. My store allows that. UNLOCK after 60 days of activation. No continous service require.
3. ATT - You can pay off same/next day in full once you get the device. NO obligation
4. ATT - You can use sim swap method to try unlock early. Please check on google/reddit for steps.

Do not try this at walmart store , because , their in-store system sometime through activation rejection and then you will not be able to get the device . Also very less people now have activation team at stores , wearing Black T-shirt from OSL.

SAMSUNG AT&T GALAXY S24 ULTRA 5G TITANIUM BLACK 256G From: https://slickdeals.net/f/17077762-at-t-128gb-samsung-galaxy-s22-ultra-5g-w-added-line-or-new-customer-activation-350-35-activation-free-w-free-s-h?v=1&page=9&src=&prop=&attrsrc= Unlocking and Flashing to OEM Firmware 1. ATT changed their unlock policy on 3/18 to require 60 days of service before they can unlock a fully paid device. Previously, it used to be right away if you have paid in full. 2. There two timeline for the cancellation. If you cancel a line before 3 days it was active then the activation fee is waived. If you cancel it within 14 days from activation under buyers remorse then no bill is charged but activation fees need to be paid. The line activates on right when you place the order not the day you receive the phone on hand so you might have to pay the activation fee of $35. 3. You can use a tello number and port to ATT but you would have to make sure porting is successful by going to https://www.att.com/portstatus/. Many from z fold 3 got stuck in porting limbo and got the ATT account cancelled. 4. As with many deals here, a SIM swap method is found which can be used to unlock the device. This was working recently but not sure if ATT would fix it by the time you try it. The steps are as follows. a. Pay in full for the phone. While your payment will quickly reflect in your account it will be at least a few hours before it updates for the unlock request. b. When you receive the phone activate it on ATT with the SIM provided. Make sure it shows up on myATT app/in the web so ATT knows and registers the IMEI in the network. Then put the SIM in another unlocked phone, reboot, make some calls and make sure this unlocked phone is now showing under the line in app/web portal. c. Now go to ATT unlock portal https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/ and then choose not an ATT customer and use the IMEI of ATT phone and submit an unlock request.DO NOT attempt more than twice or you will be blocked for 24 hours. d.Confirm the unlock request email and receive the unlock code. e. Only cancel the line after you have unlocked the phone. Then after unlocking if you are feeling adventurous and want to flash the phone to an unlocked firmware to get rid of ATT bloat you can follow these steps. It's actually very easy to do with Odin. 1. There are many models of S24 ultra but in US two models are imp. S928U is carrier locked version and S928U1 is the unlocked US version. The firmware for these versions are interchangeable so you can flash the ATT model with S928U1 firmware. 2. Download patched odin v3.14.1_3B_PatchedD.zip from https://xdaforums.com/t/patched-o...1.3762572/ as regular odin does not allow flashing mismatched firmware. 3. Download the firmware from S928U1 XAA version from https://samfrew.com/model/SM-S928U1/region/XAA/ Extract as there will be multiple files. 4. Connect S24U to the windows PC. 5 .Put S24u in download/recovery/odin mode. Power down. Press Volume up and down together, then plugin usb cable (from pc). Wait for disclaimer screen and then press Volume up to go into recovery (a green screen would appear). 6. Start odin and then select different files for different categories and then start. 7, It should be now the US unlocked version.

ATT requires 60 days active before unlocking the phone. However, there is SIM Swap method which worked well in the past for unlocking paid-off ATT phones right away.

0. Do the following steps after paying off the phone fully and then waiting for a day or so for the unlock portal to get the paid off status.

6. Start odin and then select different files for different categories and then start.

FYI for those ordering with ATT, activation fee on the bill can be waived automatically by clicking on "don't recognize this fee" on the bill on web/app even if it's more than 3 days. It's one time (every 12 months or so) favor from ATT. See wiki of this thread https://slickdeals.net/f/17327499-oneplus-nord-n30-5g-128gb-unlocked-chromatic-gray-cph2513-best-buy-0 for more details on bills afterwards.
I ordered online yesterday the ATT one to expect receiving it today. Called both the Ontrac and Walmart since there is no update on tracking. Walmart said it's not in stock so they will send once it is back in stock. Online already showed and still showing it's in stock. Now I will not be able to receive it any time soon and will miss the 1-3 days window to playoff and cancel etc. Too much hassle imo. now I am preparing to cancel the order if no update later today 😞. Credit pull loss

Finally i received end of 3rd day. it was memorial day holiday when i ordered hence the delay. Was able to cancel it 4th day. Will likely get bill including the activation fee which will see if can get waived . Thanks OP

For Verizon orders - after activating the device, if I port out the number and cancel the line, does the device payment become automatically due? And we can then pay it online (or as part of the bill)?

Does this work? If yes, what's the downside? I am lazy to go to the store to pay it off

Just noticed my order from yesterday already has a tracking number as well as received email asking me fish User ID registration with at&t, problem is after creating my online profile new phone number and device seem to appear there but still no account number or ways to make any payments, under billing center I get the message "You don't have any accounts linked to this user ID" Is this normal or need to contact CS?
Mine took a few minutes to show up after registration. Just keep refreshing the page. You should see the device show up and you can pay it off. I paid mine off before I recieved it.

Wait for the phone to arrive and then activate it on the ATT network. It's possible they sent one of those prepaid phones but it's hard to tell. The phone activation might trigger the account to be in proper state.
Prepaid phones? is that what some users here been reporting getting? I was under the impression the "glitch" was Walmart not scanning devices the moment they shipped them out, but at the same time I also imagined that didn't applied to me since I got the second email from att asking me to finish setting up the account
I was just trying to rush the process because I have an at&t offer ($75 credit) on one of my credit cards that expires today

That's what I initially thought but then for my Verizon it glitched out at the end although I was able to place the order so it's possible for some of these orders they don't have the carrier account info and sending in prepaid phone but then again it's just a theory, we don't know for sure what's going on. As per the cashback I'd refresh or chat with CS to see if if it can be paid off.

You were completely right, this worked for me. Now my only question if the full amount can be paid off with split payments but doesn't appear to be the case

Not if you want to unlock it. It has to be completely paid off. I paid mine early so I was able to unlock it as soon as I got it. You need to wait 24hrs to unlock it after paying it off. If not I wouldn't of been able to cancel before 3 days as I received the phone on the 3rd day.

Yes I am aware device has to be completely paid off, I was trying to pay the full amount today using two different cards. I have the same $75 offer on two of my credit cards ($75 back on +$100 at&t payment)

Ah ok. Yeah I don't think you can on the website but perhaps if you call CS they might be able to split payments.

It's ideal to cancel it before 3 days but see my pinned comment on getting rid of activation fee instantly even after 3 days

I have an existing ATT account (fiber, not wireless) and just got my phone and booted up with SIM. So far I'm not seeing the phone or wireless service in my account, but I did register/link my account yesterday. Anyone know how long it takes to show up for payoff in this situation?

Did you reboot one more time after activating on the network and made some calls/text?
