I am concerned I will never get the registeration email, I know people are saying free phone, but sounds to good to be true...

How did you check which warehouse?

I did, the last update on mine says :

Package received at facility.
City
Fontana, CA
Date & Time
06/02/25 at 5:20 PM

,
upon chatting with ontrack they said"I apologize that this package has no current scans and is being researched by our facilities for an updated status."

I think they just lost/store the package.

wow , I did not know this was a thing. A simple missed scan results in a free phone.. feels too good to be true or there must be some catch. Adding a new ATT sim isnt a problem because I have 12 lines with AT&T on a biz account .
It's been pretty commonplace with Walmart phone orders to the point that a good portion of ppl on these deals walk away with free phones. no recourse. I've got 2 S22+ from Jan, one paid, one free.

Other than my Walmart order confirmation email, I have literally zero communication from Verizon or Walmart about my S24 Ultra. No sim, no esim, no email, not even a verizon login to check (I created a new account via the Walmart website to buy it).

1) Is my phone free?
2) Do I need to do anything other than drop my existing SIM in to start using it?

Yes, please chat with CS. Be polite but persistent about apply the credit to the current bill, not the next one. edit: Also mention the line was cancelled under buyer's remorse.
Great now they're refusing to do anything claiming what I received is "Customer Summary bill" and not an actual bill, and I should get all final adjustments when receiving my final bill which can take up to 45 days, I know I can the $35 fee removed by myself but still leaves out around $78
Does anyone know if getting a final bill with them is even a thing?

wow , did not know this was thing. that would be nice change after I have been stuck with a Fold4 with inner screen not working. Cant trade it in because its under a DPP and Samsung wants $700 to fix it .Cant even trade it in, which landed me on this S24 deal in the first place.

1. hard to tell with vzw as they seem to behind on activations. Someone mentioned they got the email 3 days later and Verizon confirmed the line was indeed activated 3 days prior.
2. You can pop in your existing verizon SIM and check if it says somethings is owed. Then also there is a glitch in version which seems to show nothing is owed on a device under a purchase plan so I would check with verizon to confirm.

Yeah, you will definitely get a bill. Read the last few pages on one plus Nord thread I linked in the pinned comment to see when people receive them nornally, as I mentioned it should not be more than couple of weeks.

Mine's actually showing the exact same status and timestamp at Fontana, not Chino. No movement since that initial scan.

Has anyone used the $50 back on a $65 plan purchase from Citi for AT&T? Wondering if it will work for the phone purchase itself.

Has anyone installed the S928U1 XAA to get your phone back to manufacturer's setting?
I tried to download the firmware from community/wiki link above, but the connection is terrible. It was disconnected so frequently.

I'm in the same boat with Vzn. shipped out of Chino on 6/2, expecting delivery 6/6. No account registration emails from Vzn. I'm hoping this means they skipped scan so I'm getting a free phone. Worst case, the registration email comes closer to delivery date so I can payoff and cancel the line with a smaller prorated bill.

Which warehouse is yours coming from?

Same as both of you, but I was impatient when I saw an email from VZ saying that my account has been updated and went ahead created my own account. Nothing is in that account so far and let's hope the phone gets here soon to see what's the deal.

I think they are just slow to actually ship or are waiting to fill up a box or something before they actually ship.

I ordered on 6/2 I got fedex shipping info 6/3. There is only 2 tracking updates 6/3 it says shipping info sent, 30 minutes later it says the package has been picked up, no other updates since.

Edit - I guess its moving faster than expected. Its a state away and scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Going to pay it off now.

Google "S928U1UES4BYE4" and you'll find it on other websites such as samfw with much faster download speed. I would post the link but don't want any filters to think Im spamming

I am sorry to say this, but if you have your order shipped via Ontrac, good luck! They are one of the notorious shippers across the country, and I can't express how much I hate them!
