My Verizon bill was $124 but they prorated it after I ported out. They would not refund the activation fee despite me porting out a day after activation. Was $41 and some change after they prorated.
When did you purchase the phone and when was it received? I ordered one on the 4th and it was supposed to be here on the 6th but now shows the 7th. 🤬 Haven't received any emails from Verizon yet.

Sign into ATT today and saw my bill was still not prorated. Wasn't surprised since the reps seemed sorta lost when i chatted with them before. Tried my luck and reached out again and finally got an agent who applied the credit on the spot. Instead of prorated for the month it was for the entire balance. Account shows $0 balance now. Thanks for the help!!

could you please send me link where to download latest odin (unpatched version) viz 3.14.4 ? I could not find it in samsungodin and xdaforums.com
I always used the patched version so I don't have any other link. The sites you mentioned have older version of Odin but that should work too. Use the Samsung Smart switch for windows to update the phone if you don't want to go Odin route, that should also update the phone to latest att/VZW version of thats what you want.

After porting out, vzn automatically prorated my bill with a credit for the remaining days applied to my next bill. I called to refund the activation fee but looks like that requires some approval that I'll need to follow up on tomorrow. Technically the phone was activated on 6/3 and I cancelled on 6/6 so that's within 3 days. We'll see what the final outcome will be.

Can't remember but it was about 3 days. No sim, so I activated it on a new account and ported out the next day. I appear to have lucked out and gotten a *free* phone. Final bill was $124 but they prorated and it adjusted to $41 somthing (activation fee which they didn't budge on but I plan on calling again about this week, taxes, and 1 day of service).

I think I'm actually going to take this and trade it in for the S25+, it was $474.99 after trade in on samsung for the 512GB and I had a few $$ in paypal rewards so I was happy with that price.

Any luck with the network lock issue?
Nope, does yours show it. A few people on reddit are telling me Verizon isn't supposed to have it, but I thought you mentioned you saw it on your Verizon one right?

If you are planning to get s25 plus it's $450 for existing users on FI so you will be better of selling s24 plus locally and you should end up paying $100 or so at the end

That's a good deal! I have years of free service stashed up with Total by verizon so I am kind of stuck with them.

If you have gotten the email from ATT for account setup etc then you will be on the hook to cancel that account. If you haven't got that and the phone is not shipped yet then the account might not have been created and the Walmart cancellation should be enough.

So you don't have to switch. You open up a new account with FI, become existing user after 21 days, do the deal, keep the account active on FI for $120 days and then pause the service. All FI phones are factory unlocked and ready to be used with any carrier from day 1. See https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/18073087. Some here keep a FI account for this purpose.
