Question about the unlock process. I got the phone yesterday and have been following the unlock steps. I put in the sim ATT sim and made some calls. The s24+ shows on the app and the website but I'm not sure if it's because I linked it. I've since put the ATT sim into an old samsung s9 phone but it's an unlock phone from Canada. I've rebooted and made some calls. Just waiting 24 hours from full payment before trying the unlock. The thing is on the app and Web portal the Samsung s9 doesn't show up. It's only showing as unknown device. I presume that is fine since it doesn't show the Samsung s24+ - the unrecognized device is showing on both the app and portal? I presume given that it's a Canadian phone or an older phone it just doesn't recognize it?
The second phone never showed up on the web site for me but the unlocking succeeded without a hitch, so I wouldn't worry about it.

I signed up with AT&T and canceled within three days. They removed the activation fee but the monthly service fee remains and the bill is now overdue. I plan is to wait for the second monthly bill which will hopefully remove the monthly service fee. Do any of you have any experience as to what I should expect?

As long as it's not s24 plus you should be fine. To double check, it will also have the IMEI somewhere under the device in app/website, you can match it with S9 IMEI

I would talk to them and confirm that's what is going to happen. They don't want to apply the credit to the current bill but that's the best way to do these deals so nothing is past due.

should be automatic as long as the phone is cellular or wifi connected. Phone pings samsung servers to determine unlock status.

If you do att and sim swap to unlock it should $360 + tax + $10 or so.

edit: same for vzw but you have to wait 60 days for unlock.
I thought you need to pay $35 activation fee because you can't cancel within 3 days? Also, how much is tax?
