Your saving for 18 mo. is actually similar or smaller than ~$700, so unless you are an iphone user, this is not a good deal. If you use android, their phone discount promo is better.
Right now I am using Xfinity which is about $120 for 4 lines plus a tablet. Xfinity uses Verizon towers, but I don't know how much of a difference that would make for us.
What's the best way to try this service out without cancelling everything?

Also! if you have a modern phone you can activate it as soon as you complete signing up. most iphones past the 11 can eSim and the activate is within a few minutes so you can try the service.
This fi plan won't qualify for the highest discount. The pay-as-go plan and unlimited premium are the one qualify for that.

I use less than a gig because I have another sim for data.
I will leave Fi in a heartbeat once I use up my credits - though I am not eligible for this deal because I am existing customer
