No MA, no deal. A hill I'll gladly die on.
I do prefer MA, but Apple is my preferred outlet for viewing.

More than MA, I wish when you do buy from a specific retailer like this that they credit you for the movies you already purchased from them in some way, like Steam game sales.
It's sad that Vudu makes the whole bundle HD, even if just one movie is HD and the rest are 4K.

I couldn't have said it better, I am sick and tired of where and which stupid company will let me watch the movies I purchased, unless it's MA movie forget it.

I completely agree. I love VUDU (FaH) otherwise (I have Android), but the fact that VUDU is so stingy with these bundles is annoying.

I already have 21 movies from this list. The conundrum…and first-world problem.

Good catch, almost pulled the trigger at Vudango because I have a ton of gift cards, but the fact that 40+ are 4k at Apple and 0 are 4k at Vudu is a BIG no go there!

With free 4k upgrades, Apple seems the logical choice for the primary retailer.
I know that there is the rare occasional non-upgrade when movies change distributors, but I've gotten 300-ish upgrades and I don't have any incidents of not getting an upgrade.

Plus, a bundle like this on Vudu/Fandango is only going to be HD, right?

That'd be great, but I bet bundles like this wouldn't be so cheap if that were the case as they know there are going to be duplicates. I had a few individuals in here that I had, and a bunch from some other bundles. But if they charged $100 and gave me credits for the one's I owned, I'd be paying a few dollars more.

Maybe I'm wrong and they'd be the same price, maybe they're targeting the masses and not the people with lots of movies...

Speaking of rebuying: I can't tell you how many times I've gotten The Matrix in a bundle, but they were all pretty cheap bundles.

But isn't it all going to be in HD?

vudu does occasionally upgrade to 4k, but it's sporadic at best. had the ocean's trilogy, and they only upgraded two of them, at different times.

on the other hand, if a fanflix deal comes through, they're usually fandango and do include the 4k versions in bundles!
