Since the RAM is not upgradeable, you'll probably wanna keep the 16GB version just to future proof it for a bit.
The ultra 7 model with 16GB and 1TB is only $80 more. Got the open box excellent shipped for $462 thanks to your post.
Thanks for the heads up, Was able to order the same shipped in Texas...will pick up the "Good Condition" one at my local store and see which one looks better!
With all the ram hungry apps on windows, yes, it can a limitation.
But these laptops look and feel like $800+ machines. Anyone who just needs a light duty laptop will definitely feel like they got their money's worth.
At a certain point 16gb will feel obsolete as well. You probably have a few more good years of 8gb of ram before lightweight stuff "needs" 16gb of ram. There are many people getting by with 10+ year desktop/laptop and still enjoy it.
