It's a running shoe. Why wouldn't you want to be comfortable when you are running? Who cares what you look like. I'd rather my body feeling good after a 15 mile run.

As far as I know the Nimbus are the most cushioned shoe they offer, so they will look like that. At least until they have the tech to make max cushion shoes without the stack height.

That's the whole point of Nimbus. It's less noticeable in black since the midsole and upper are the same color.

Thank you for this deal! The most comfortable shoes I ran in was the Nimbus 25. I hope they didn't change too much from 25 to 27!

27 is actually closer to the 25 than the 26. 26 got a little firmer although it's still plush. 27 reversed course and added a few mm of stack.

The Nimbus is slotted as the max cushion, daily trainer in their lineup. If you want a lower stack look elsewhere.
