Great deal. Picked up 2 and was able to save $5 w/ code 288486. YMMV.

For those wondering why you should get these vs a tank exchange, it's about half the cost to get these refilled vs exchange from what I've seen. Pays for itself after 1 - 2 grilling seasons, faster if you grill a lot.

Not to mention that the exchange tanks are only filled to 75% so you only get 15 pounds in a 20 pound tank.

But even if you can only exchange, this is a great deal for the empty tank.

I think it might be for people who want more than one tank or those needing a propane tank for the very first time. I have two, and instead of buying a brand new one full price in case I want a third, this deal would be better.

Exchanging is typically much more than refilling the tank at places like U-Haul or amerigas. Regardless, you still need to purchase a tank before you can exchange it, which is currently $68 at Home Depot. For tank purchase this is a great deal if you are local.

Im not sure why the td but this is what I do as well. I find them on Facebook marketplace for pennies on the dollar and never had an issue exchanging them at home depot
