Any thoughts on how many more years Apple will support the 2020 M1 with OS and Security updates? Debating making the jump at this one for an amazing price or riding it out with the M1.
It fits all my needs and is lightning fast but when the Apple store price is $999 just to look at it in the Apple Store, this is a heck of a deal and so hard to pass up......

Thanks!! This is amazing. I just sold on FB Marketplace the M3 that i had price matched from BB two weeks ago. Used the $75 certificate generated from that promo to buy this one PM'ed at Best Buy while also earning nearly $75 in new certificates lol.

Online and external. It kinda forces you to be more diligent with you data. I rarely move my docked laptop. So, it's ok, not great to have a 256. 512 should be the new min for a premium product.

Unless you're doing stuff that involves heavy video editing or "AI" you really don't need it. Apple "AI" infrastructure is still in its baby phase so till it matures most people won't be needing the upgrade for another 2-3 years. Why do it earlier?
