This might come is handy after catching a shoplifter.

For up to 2 inch PVC, I still use an old miter saw. It might be handy for PEX, though.

These have been on clearance for months and come up for various prices in different stores so you might find an even better deal by checking "The Back Aisles" (TM).

Even normal PVC this type of cutter shatters the pipe 50% of the time. I pretty much always saw PVC now. Probably works fine on PEX, don't know, don't cut much pex.

it's for tubing, like Pex. Not CPVC.
