I tried the metcom at the store recently, but they didn't feel comfortable for daily walking. The high rises heel seemed to push me forward, making my stance a bit awkward, which isn't ideal for standing all day. In contrast, I opted for the On Cloud sneakers, and they've been incredibly comfortable. I use them for long shifts at the hospital, and my feet never feel exhausted, even after pacing around all day.

Wear these to the gym daily. Same colorway. Great for lifts of all kinds good stability without being rigid. Not for purely running. Fine for walks.

Do these have heel rise?

I like squatting and deadlifting with converse because they don't have heel rise.

You have to try the Metcon 6. All the ones after 6 are more like a weight lifting style shoe. Metcon 6 is the best all around workout shoe there is.

No. They're not. Far from it. Used a lot for gym/CrossFit/lifting.

Check your local Nike store if you have one - a few months ago they had these for ~60 but I ended up going with the air max alpha trainer because they were $20 less. Both are pretty stable but the metcon felt more locked down than the air max.

The best CrossFit, lifting, circuit training and for cardio class shoes. They are terrible for walking or running. The bottom heel is solid plastic. I have these and the metcons 9. Both are great. They also have a wide toe box. I wear them with 2E feet no issues.

Got a pair from Nike outlet store (Oregon) for $50 after 10% military discount and no tax.

Great shoes for working out, provide good support for all my lifts. They are very good looking shoes.

I have 2 pairs now, both white, one has black sole and red and black nike logo. I would recommend this for anyone who does more than treadmill at the gym.

In for a pair of 10.5s. I normally cannot wear Nike because they are narrow. Reviews said they run wider. I will report when I wear them next week.
