I don't have that problem with my older DeWalt which has the handle on the right, nor the worm drive (nor any other saw)
I'm sure that's not universal - but I hate this saw, and wish I had figured out the issue and returned it.
I'm blaming myself and not the saw.. it seems to be a very nice tool, but it's ergonomics just don't work for me.
This saw suspiciously never goes on sale. Seems to be you can scoop the older 60v for a deal nowadays, but I'm not interested in the 60v line at the moment. I may buy it, but I just don't need it.
