Can anyone comment to the real world use of this Samsung 2tb vs the Crucial T500 2TB Gen4 NVMe M.2 Internal ? would be used for either Os drive or expansion drive for ps5.. Thx

Seems the Crucial/Micron drive is a better drive over all?

i do use a 990 Evo Plus as my OS drive, but this is after the fact I realize the 990 Evo Plus does not have dram, the 990 Pro variant does. Overall the Evo Plus is super fast, real world cant tell the difference between it and the 990 Pro (which i use as my gaming drive). You can def use them in your PS5 as well but might be overkill as there are cheaper options.

For my PS5 i ended up going with the cheapest one I could find for 2tb. I put a link below to amazon for a brand called Fianxiang, unheard of but reliable as I have had it in my PS5 for almost a yea now and same with a buddy of mine too. Other options like Lexar, PNY are available too for a few bucks more if that makes you feel better. Samsung is top notch and premium, but on a sale it will be around the price you're seeing now. My rule of thumb is; for PC go Samsung/Crucial/WD. For ps5, you can go a bit cheaper, you can easily find a 2tb for $90-100 on amazon, just make sure it can read at 5000+Mb/S
