Lux are made of real leather. These are synthetic. For some reason the women's say "Leather Upper" whereas the men's version says "Synthetic Leather Upper" even though they are the same material.

Generally the width. In most cases women's sneakers are more narrow. I believe a standard width in women's is the equivalent of a "narrow" width men's sneaker. A women's "wide" width would equal standard width men's sneaker. And make sure to convert the size (1.5 difference). A size 10 women's=8.5 in men's.
