Also I think there might be two versions of the Ultimate 2c. They have a Android/Windows version and a Switch version

Bingo. The one in this deal is the "Ultimate 2C Wireless" which is meant for Windows/Android. 8BitDo also sells the "Ultimate 2C Bluetooth" which is meant for Switch (and works perfect for Switch 2 with the firmware update).

8BitDo makes great hardware but really needs to work on their product naming.

Yeah I am not sure, I updated mine directly from the website. I own the Windows PC/Android one. Judging from other comments it doesn't work with switch 2?
