For comparison, Costco's $499 version is 22", comes with a second battery, and has dual cutting blades. Worth it to get the Costco version imo

The Costco deal includes 4Ah + 2Ah, not two 4Ah batteries. The 2Ah costs closer to $100 so Costco is still worth it but not as killer a deal as it might've seemed.

EDIT: Just noticed Costco has a 21" and a 22" for sale. I was referring to the 21" above since that was $500 for a while but has gone up to $630. Not sure the 22" ever hit that low; it's currently $600. This Best Buy deal is solid if you need a mower now.

The costco one near my house did not have the version you are talking about. It was 21" and not a dual blade for $499. Which I bought. This is a good deal if you don't need the second battery if you are on a budget. The version you are talking about is $599 online wasn't in store near me.

One thing to note is that the motor drives rear wheels so it struggles with hills.

Just a heads-up...
This mower from Best buy looks like it only has a single battery port. The mower from Costco has a dual active battery ports. When using 2 batteries the mower will automatically switch to the charged battery when the first one is depleted. Better for larger lawns.

One way to tell the difference is the single port has 1 battery gauge on the mower handle. The dual port has 2 battery gauges on the handle.

Pretty good deal. This unit has battery capacity of about 8% more than my Greenworks 60v 5Ah battery > self propelled 21" mower (I dont use it much as I have flat property) I can cut 3300 sq feet of St. Augustin lawn with a little juice left over. Once again only using self propelled mode sparingly.

If you have a small to medium lawn a second battery / battery port is not really necessary especially if it saves you $100-200. My mower / battery is now 7 years old and the battery has lost little capacity.

We're not some of these Costco deals a few weeks back refurb units per one purchaser?

I'm on season 2 with the dual batter port version of this mower. Love it so far.

I heard you can register Costco Greenworks lawn mower for 8 years battery warranty ( 4 + 4)
Does anyone know if that is still true ?
