You get 5 free night certs and those certificates expire one year from date of issuance. As for Bonvoy points, Marriott Bonvoy points can expire if your account is inactive for 24 months. To keep your points active, you need to either earn or redeem points at least once every 24 months. Qualifying activities include staying at a Marriott hotel, using a co-branded credit card, or purchasing points.

Do you think this would qualify if I am currently a secondary card holder/authorized user on my mom's card?

Looking at making a large purchase today. Does anyone know if I'll get my card number immediately so I can use the card today?

If I remember correctly, you get an email once approved stating that you can add the card to Apple Pay and something else. The physical card comes a week or two later.

Cannot be a current Bonvoy BOLD (no fee) holder. If I were to close my BOLD account, how long would one typically need to wait to apply for the Promo? (I haven't had a Marriot sign up bonus in >24 months so I'm good there). I tried calling Marriott and asking and they absolutely would not answer the question. Another Chase rep said an account might show as open on my credit pull for 30-60 days (I doubt that). I just don't want to close my Bold, open a Boundless, be approved for the card while not getting the Promo. Marriott rep didn't seem to think the offer would be active after June.

It expires 7/16, chase rule is wait 30 days after you close bold, you cant get sign up bonus if you are holding bold. If you want this card, and if I was in your shoe, I would freeze my credit report, apply for boundless on 7/15, app will go pending, just call chase on 7/18 the bonus will be tied to your application, they will ask you to unfreeze your Experian, unfreeze it, they will pull your credit report and you will get approved. Tag me if you have any other question or pm
