Before the usual troll comes here and copy-pastes the same comment he does on every thread.
This was never this low for a refurb with warranty. The lowest was $499 for a new one, months ago.

"Excellent - Refurbished: The item is in like-new condition, backed by a one year warranty. It has been professionally refurbished, inspected and cleaned to excellent condition by qualified sellers. The item includes original or new accessories and will come in new generic packaging.
Used: The item was previously used. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but it is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that was used."
It's not that difficult to understand the difference between the two.

Let me copy paste AI generated stuff: "Snapdragon laptops have limited compatibility with Linux, as full support is still lacking, particularly in terms of device drivers for essential components. Some users report partial functionality with bleeding-edge Linux distributions, but many features may not work properly." Please comment if anyone has experience with linux on snapdragon machine

As someone who has purchased 4-5 "used," as you call them, Lenovo refurbished machines off eBay (never from Newegg though): every one has showed up indistinguishable from new, battery reported using the internal software to a capacity / health of 99-100% of original, and only one of them lacked the retail box, manuals, and new factory stickers protecting all the outer surfaces and screen...something you'll never see on uSeD lApToP.

BTW, you might want to learn what "refurbished" actually means. Most of the time never touched by a consumer but was pulled out of the package for firmware updating, accessories removed, was originally packaged for distribution outside of normal retail channels (corp leasing, outside the US...blah blah blah), etc.

*my current IdeaPad after 8 months of heavy use is now reporting 96% battery capacity / "health" per the Vantage software.

Back to the adult discussion, as far iGPU's go, I'm probably better sticking with my current 8845HS for light gaming, correct?

This CPU 's raw performance isn't bad at all. However the main concern is whether the software you want to run has arm version. If not, you might still be able to run, but binary translation from x86 to arm may cause a bit of performance loss (I can't say about the amount, it could be just a little or a lot). Windows does have binary translation but that doesn't mean all software would run seamlessly, e.g. visualization software, games with anti cheat. I look forward to seeing more software releases for arm.

Not familiar with Snapdragon. Is it better than Intel CPU ? Planning to use Microsoft Office, play light games and movies.

It's good for productivity and media consumption, but not gaming at all. Maybe only very light compatible games.
Amazing battery life, though.

I would try it, but "Returns are subject to restocking fees of 15% - 30% of the purchase price, and return shipping fees."

Is this good for my daughter who will be starting college.
They don't do heavy work.
Also how is the battery life that's my main concern I don't want her to run for charging just after 2 to 3 hours, if this battery last anything between 6 to 7 hours on moderate college student uses then I will try.

Don't see that it comes with the open at the link provided. Grabbed it anyway for a daughter starting college (nursing). We shall see.
