These work great but fyi, they start to smell after a day or 2. More then likely it's the rotting flies.

That's when that food bait gets nice and warm from the sun then starts rot along with the dead flies….attracting more flies lol

If you need more it's a lot cheaper just to buy the no name bulk packs. I can usually get them around $2 each, but I buy the 8 packs usually. Sometimes they'll be way cheaper than that during winter months too.

I really don't see much difference in quality from brand to brand, every once in a while you'll run into one where the bait gets stuck in the top portion but it's easily salvageable.

Ideally you want them in a well ventilated area (outside) at least 20ft from where you or your animals are hanging out. These things stink and they will occasionally break when they get full.

Such an iconic band. Odd to see them involved in fly traps.

No, they belong on the edge of your property. Like noted above, the dead flies stink awful.

The stink is awful, so no.

This is what I use indoors, at least for me they work great.

Absolutely not. The scent that is used in these to attract flies is 'rotting meat.' For indoors, your best bet is a scentless sticky trap. Try one of those blue light traps that are on here on occasion or if it's your garage and you don't care what it looks like, just hang a couple of those old school fly strips from the ceiling.

Use Zevo for indoor insects. Be sure to turn off all lights at night and they work great! The generic refills are available thru Amazon. Much less than the Zevo brand.

Terrible. The flies start propagating inside and soon you will have a fly maggot soup bag. Also a PIA to dispose of without leaking everywhere.
