Needs "M3" in the title, since this is for an older version of the processor.

$431.67 after trading in my M1 Air with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. ($325 value). Worth it? Not sure how much I can get for it in the used market. I would lose half the storage. I don't use much space. Hmmm
Why are you trading it in? I still have my M1 MBP it seems well enough to do all my tasks and seems snappy enough. I did buy a new ipad air m3 that thing is fast I am moving most of my creative workflow to it because the apps are like 80% cheaper and now with multi monitor I don't really even use my laptop anymore. Just PC and ipad.

90% of people will not tell the difference between the M3 and M4. This is a killer deal.
I guess I am a 10% er. M4 > M3. LoL the trick is knowing the pro versions are 2x the compute, so unless you need specific AI or AV1 then getting a used m2pro will wipe the floor with this machine performance wise. You also get a real screen.

8gb is fine if you close tabs, manage apps and occasionally reboot. Wouldn't buy one now but it's fine handing down or keeping another year.

Great price. Some might complain about 256GB but what is anybody saving locally to a Macbook these days?

I mean, sure. But then that's going to be 2x the price the of this just for the entry level Pro.

Based on prior year's B2S deals...$899, less $150 Gift Card back - $749. Sites are reporting this drops tomorrow, but I'm now out of market for that.

Good price, asked B&H, they refused to match. Too bad they can't price match.

Nah, that's not $749, as you're still out-of-pocket the $899 + tax. GC should never be confused with good ol' fashioned US legal tender.

LOL. No, it's just that GCs avoid future cost at best (especially if the GC is merchant specific), which incentives, even requires additional spending. That's fundamentally different than spending less for a product/service and keeping the sale cost difference for use/non-use at ones full discretion.
