Be aware that the bottle does not mention the mercury content or whether molecular distillation was used to remove mercury.

This is a pretty good price per dose ($0.155 per)

Regular price at costco is 28.49 for 150 capsules - $0.189 per dose (150 count bottle)... but it is going on sale this week (ad scan says $5-7 off)

I ordered this morning and had them delivered a little while ago, and the ones I received expire 10/2027.

Ordered 3 for $37.73 which translates to 7,442 omega-3s per dollar, an excellent value for fish oil, let alone an IFOS-certified one.

good price wonder with the steep discount what the expiration is on these
It could be because they now sell them in-store at Walmart, they are trying to competitive in their pricing.

Pollock is not the best fish for obtaining Omega-3 fatty acids; it ranks low on the list of fish known for their Omega-3 content. https://www.builtlean.com/fish-omega-3/ I use this brand of fish oil that comes from anchovies, and I have never experienced any fishy taste. I also store them in the refrigerator. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JAX0...tle_1&th=1
Wow, the pollock is really low! The one I currently take is salmon. Thanks for sharing.

Most Omega3 are made for women. Men want to have a higher DHA to EPA ratio. Unfortunately not many companies make them that way.

My knees pain (joints?) is completely gone after taking this omega 3 daily. (I got mine from Costco when it goes on sale)

I read that there was a research done on it so it's not a placebo, tho keep in mind there are so many different types and locations of knee pain, but it doesn't hurt to have since your body needs Omega 3 anyway.

One should check with their GP and see if they can get a prescription for Omega 3. Mail order prices are around $2/month. Plus the quaility is better.

Amazon's has more DHA yet serving size is 2 in lieu of 1, a few cents more per dose.

True with commercial insurance, even $0 copay for a 2-month supply. But not gov't insurance or without.

Rx Omega 3
EPA - 465
DHA - 375
2 caps /day

Amazon Elements
EPA - 650
DHA- 450
2 caps /day

This
EPA - 690
DHA - 260
1 cap /day

Add my 2 cents here.

I've been taking this daily for several months. I've been taking fish oil for awhile but wanted to shift the EPA/DHA ratio based on some feedback on liver health and this supplement fit the bill. It's also sold at Costco; $33 for 150, so this is certainly a better deal than the everyday Costco price.

If I recall, I believe the Carlson Labs brand was the closest in matching the prescription brands with regards to EPA/DHA ratio. It was also rated highly for safety. It used to be the cheapest option. was buying them online via Vitamin Shoppe (whenever they have a coupon).

IIRC lower EPA/DHA is from poorer quality (and cheaper) oils; again I only started looking into it after having some elevated labs some months ago. Also, SR is a brand I can buy like my normal groceries and isn't typically a special order.

The larger point is that "fish oil" <> "fish oil" in that the composition matters. What also matters is the general reputation of the company itself as some can use really cheap sources, dilute with other oils, or have more contamination; such is the supplements market.

While both Amazon and Costco say 1250mg fish oil, Amazon has 1040mg of Omega-3s vs 1055mg for Costco. I'm guessing that doesn't make much of a difference, but does anyone know the source of the difference?
