Boost Mobile [boostmobile.com] has 512GB Motorola edge+ 2023 Smartphone (Boost Mobile Locked, Black) on sale for $59.99 + $60 1-Month Unlimited Talk/Text/Data Service = $119.99. Shipping is free.

This phone is now back in stock at Boost. It's a steal at this price still has better specs than most phones out there especially with 512gb of storage. I bought one on last years deal and was able to unlock it via one of the unlockers who were kicked off of eBay. Many didn't have the unlock codes yet back then but would assume their available now. YMMV. I currently use mine with Instabridge esim for 5gb of free data a month. Just bought another for my wife.

Note, on product page select "I don't want protection" or Boost Protect will be added to cart at $12/month.

Specs (source [motorola.com]):
Processor: Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm)
Display: 6.7" 1080x2400 165Hz pOLED
RAM: 8GB LPDDR5X
Storage: 512GB
Operating system: Android 13
Battery: 5100mah
Cameras:
Rear Camera Hardware - 50MP, 1/1.5" optical format, f/1.8 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 2.0µm, Omni-directional PDAF, Optical Image Stabilization, 50MP Ultrawide angle (114° FOV), Macro Vision, f/2.2 aperture, 0.64µm pixel size | Quad Pixel, Technology for 1.28µm, 12MP Portrait (2x telephoto), f/1.6 aperture, 1.22µm pixel size, Ambient Light Sensor
Front Camera Hardware - 60MP, f/2.2 aperture, 0.61µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 1.22µm

Edge 40 pro/x40 is the international version of this.
So Moto Edge 40 Pro would be a perfect fit for this edge+ 2023?

Same dimensions, but the internals are different. As far as battery and RAM.

When you add to box, it says Unlimited premium 60/mo plan required (+1 month free). It is a total of $120. Will that be final price even if I discontinue service in 2 months, or they will charge the CC for the entire cost of the phone $599 when I discontinue service
I would also like to confirm that this won't happen.

Once you activate the line, turn off autopay and the phone will service will lapse after the first month. It's Prepay. If you don't pay there is no service and there is no obligation to continue past the first month.

No unless u flash the retail firmware but if your esim provider gives you a qr code, you can still activate esim even with boost firmware

Has anyone tried flashing the factory unlocked firmware on these? I know you can do that with Samsung phones, but haven't really heard of it being done on these Moto phones.

whatever database using must be cheap to access. Just googled "RESELLER PRICING / IMEI" low as 15cents-50cents on some of the sites.

Yes but a lot harder then Samsung the Motorola bootloader unlocking requires key from motorola website also voids warranty on motorola server instantly. And relocking bootloader can brick the device.
