Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:

My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

To reduce installation of games and other unwanted apps:
Set up without going on WiFi or inserting SIM card. Click on Skip for WiFi and Set up offline for the SIM card. Then Continue to set up offline.
Go to the App manager, click to view system apps. Then disable App cloud, Mobile Applicatons Manager.
After that you can enable WiFi, isert SIM card, activate.

Any good cases for this phone? Like, any suggestions? The other Edge+ phone I bought 2 years ago had a bunch of cases on sale at Verizon for $5, good cases from reputable manufacturers like Otterbox, is there anything similar, or will we have to go for random Amazon cases? Also, any screen protector recommendations? Sorry if it's been repeated, but this thread is nearly 60 pages and I really cannot read through all of this.
Temu has temu-quality cases for $2.
Please be patient with me. I read the 890 comments. I'm old --- days of IBM 365 computers and cell phones that were larger than a brick. I am not technologically savvy by any means. 🙄 I bought a Motorola edge + on this deal and it just arrived .
- Load the boost sim card and activate on Boost. Send a couple of texts/calls to finalize activation.
- Can use line for 30 days but be sure to disable auto pay.
- Disable auto pay. It didn't let me use my virtual card which was annoying.
- Remove sim. (It's Dish software)
- Get code from imei site for IMEI #1 and not #2 which is esim. I confirmed on unlock site that phone can be unlocked with IMEI #1.
- Change out SIM cards --- I have T-Mobile prepaid plan. Should work with T-Mobile?
- Follow the prompts and phone unlocked.
- Several comments about boot loader, flash, etc. which I have no idea what that means. Is any of that necessary? Or can I run the phone with #1-#7?
- Will Boost come after me for cancelling plan and unlocking phone? Would like to rinse and repeat for other family members as all our phones are outdated.
to add on to this, i intended on removing the Boost SIM immediately and putting in a third party sim to make the unlock code screen pop up, will this be OK too?Removed payment method but somehow when trying to enable autopay for testing ,it still shows payment card. Hope they don't charge back
