10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.

You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

Removed payment method but somehow when trying to enable autopay for testing ,it still shows payment card. Hope they don't charge back
So I tried doing the 30-day back refund and for one account they gave me a $60 bill credit (?) and the other account with three lines seems to have a properly processing refund. I turned off auto pay after I requested it, here's hoping it still goes through.
Update:
A refund for all four lines was processed, even when I turned auto pay off right after requesting one of the refunds.
So I got 4 for 240 + tax. Definitely worth trying to get the 30-day guarantee if you're still in the initial 30 days of the plan.

So I have a question. Like wouldn't the carrier put you on collections or like do something and keep billing you?

Fully online.Powered on the Moto Edge+ and completed the initial setup, including logging into Google. Then I inserted the SIM card.Opened an email from Boost Mobile and clicked "Activate your service," then followed the instructions. The IMEI number was already preloaded, so I only needed to enter the SIM card number to activate the service.(I got a new number, not port-in)I had to reboot the device several times to ensure that calling, texting, and data were working correctly. It took some hours.
cause i am planning to buy it and re-route to Canada. Thanks for the info.

I paid Dr Unlock $15 last year. Price went up from when I used to unlock a 2022 Edge+ from Boost as well. That was 3.99
All of those people were banned sadly. Now idk where to go
Do I get charged full device price after a month by not staying with boost? My plan is to follow what everybody did, cancel auto renew and unlock it after a month with boost
You would only get charged full price if you don't activate the device within 30 days. I'm still not sure how that makes sense since there is still no commitment other than assigning a phone number.

Thanks a lot!! I was going to send you a private message with that question but 360min restriction time didnt allow. Do you guys recommend any shipping service from US to abroad? I'm sending this phone to New Zealand
I have turned off auto-pay; any way to get the new charges refunded?
Already installed a WiiU and Switch emulator which both run great.
Smart Connect(Ready For) is working fantastic as well. Connected to an external monitor can be used basically like a PC, or to just run Streaming apps like IPTV, YouTube, games, etc. Don't even need a mouse, as the phone screen has a virtual mouse & keyboard.
I enabled OEM unlock first thing, but it turned back off and greyed out, assuming after I put the Boost sim in. Network unlock was quick, thanks @ThriftyGame5232. Guessing OEM unlock will become available soon, not that I need to root?
