10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.

You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

Anyone has/had issues in checking out the order? I have been trying from last night with multiple cards and the CC transaction goes through as CC asks me for OTP but the website ends up with an error "Something wrong" every time. Could not complete order. I tried Incognito mode as well and no luck.
I got an order in by 3pm EST and it's out for delivery now. It's far from my first order. It's either a website error or your device, IP, card, etc.
I have turned off auto-pay; any way to get the new charges refunded?
My 1st one due date is 9/9. Is it good to buy two more on same account and activate before that and remove card before that?
Removed payment method but somehow when trying to enable autopay for testing ,it still shows payment card. Hope they don't charge back
Yes, not sure if you can remove the card afterwards because it asks to have at least one card. I used a 1-time use burner card via privacy cc. It will bill you the prorated so I only paid like $80 instead of $130ish; however, after it ships, it turns on autopay automatically and after you activate it will try to bill you the $60 or $40 plan again. So after it ships, check the account and disable autopay before you get your phone or before you activate it. because it says I owe $129 even though my account balance is -$25 or something.

I would call customer service. I just placed an order for 2 yesterday and got a shipping confirmation today.
My 1st month resets 9/4

Do I get charged full device price after a month by not staying with boost? My plan is to follow what everybody did, cancel auto renew and unlock it after a month with boost
You would only get charged full price if you don't activate the device within 30 days. I'm still not sure how that makes sense since there is still no commitment other than assigning a phone number.
Thanks a lot!! I was going to send you a private message with that question but 360min restriction time didnt allow. Do you guys recommend any shipping service from US to abroad? I'm sending this phone to New Zealand
I just got over that restriction! lol. I'll PM you my email just in case.
Just received it and checked my payment history on boost mobile; these are the charges I am seeing:
- 08/22/2025
- Payment
- Completed
- Amount: $124.62
- Balance: $124.62
For what it's worth, I see the "monthly recurring charge" on my Boost payment history too, but that charge does not show on my transaction history for that credit card. The only actual charge showing on my card is the total amount from when I purchased the phone. I have autopay off.I have turned off auto-pay; any way to get the new charges refunded?
For those that unlocked already and switched to another service provider, did eSIM work, or must the phone be rooted to another OS? Does this phone actually allow dual SIM if you had the correct tray? Will the MEP 23 hardware allow SIM plus eSIM in a dual mode? Has anyone tested this out?

You shouldn't have any issues activating using eSim online or by phone as long as you have your IMEI added and get a QR code. Now the software does stop you from seeing an eSim setting. You will need to flash different firmware for that situation.

Boost doesn't let you ESIM on older Motorola phones for some reason.
I tested Free Roamless and Free Instabridge Apps ESIM automatically installs and works.
