Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

To reduce installation of games and other unwanted apps:
Set up without going on WiFi or inserting SIM card. Click on Skip for WiFi and Set up offline for the SIM card. Then Continue to set up offline.
Go to the App manager, click to view system apps. Then disable App cloud, Mobile Applicatons Manager.
After that you can enable WiFi, isert SIM card, activate.

XM mobile says returns most phones imei are incompatible.
only approve certain late model iphones + small # of android
but i used a old iphone 8 (i think) imei to pass the checker ,
got a XM sim card, put that sim card in this phone.
no issues
i did exactly this a few years ago with spectrum with the moto g stylus 2022
eventually spectrum whitelisted all the g styluses

I'd likely purchase both together upfront, since there seems to be a little ambiguity about getting charged for a second month when purchasing in the middle of a billing cycle to get a pro-rated plan discount.
Would greatly appreciate if anyone who purchased one or two, turned off auotopay, and "let the plan die" can confirm that they weren't billed or sent to collections or anything for not paying the second month. I.e., anyone who did not port out the Boost number nor called to cancel or refund their lines. Just wanted to get additional anecdotes due to some billing complaints on Boost Mobile's Reddit.
It would also be great if anyone can confirm that they got the eSIM or pSIM working on U.S. Mobile.
It doesn't look like the Thread Wiki has been updated to include some of the recent information everyone is sharing.

A film protector worked well and stayed on for me but didn't prevent either phone from cracking on the edge from a slight impact. Only two phones I've had the screen crack on.
They work for preventing scratches.
I'm just going without one on this phone, which I never do.
