Boost Mobile [boostmobile.com] has 512GB Motorola edge+ 2023 Smartphone (Boost Mobile Locked, Black) on sale for $59.99 + $60 1-Month Unlimited Talk/Text/Data Service = $119.99. Shipping is free.

This phone is now back in stock at Boost. It's a steal at this price still has better specs than most phones out there especially with 512gb of storage. I bought one on last years deal and was able to unlock it via one of the unlockers who were kicked off of eBay. Many didn't have the unlock codes yet back then but would assume their available now. YMMV. I currently use mine with Instabridge esim for 5gb of free data a month. Just bought another for my wife.

Note, on product page select "I don't want protection" or Boost Protect will be added to cart at $12/month.

Specs (source [motorola.com]):
Processor: Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm)
Display: 6.7" 1080x2400 165Hz pOLED
RAM: 8GB LPDDR5X
Storage: 512GB
Operating system: Android 13
Battery: 5100mah
Cameras:
Rear Camera Hardware - 50MP, 1/1.5" optical format, f/1.8 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 2.0µm, Omni-directional PDAF, Optical Image Stabilization, 50MP Ultrawide angle (114° FOV), Macro Vision, f/2.2 aperture, 0.64µm pixel size | Quad Pixel, Technology for 1.28µm, 12MP Portrait (2x telephoto), f/1.6 aperture, 1.22µm pixel size, Ambient Light Sensor
Front Camera Hardware - 60MP, f/2.2 aperture, 0.61µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 1.22µm

This phone does NOT have 6 years of support. Maybe rephrase so people don't interpret it as years of support from moto. But rather Google dropping OS support for A15 or A16 long term. The G Stylus 2022 does NOT have an official IP68 rating, whereas the Edge 40 Pro/2023 Plus does.Considering my LG V30 from 2017 is on Android 14 custom, official updates are insignificant to me. This phone will likely be too slowly or battery shot in 6 years regardless. It only has 8gb RAM.
I currently use Motorola Edge Plus 2022 Verizon unlocked and I really like it. It has 12gb physical ram & 256gb storage. For this Edge Plus 2023, it has physical 8gb ram & 512gb storage that is real good for ram boost. It has powerful processor plus ton of storage together it can give 16gb ram via ram boost without any problem. Am I right?

Wow. Out of curiosity and so I have a better understanding of the limits for my own Edge+, what exactly happened to yours? Dropped it into a pool? The ocean? I've dunked my IP67 iphone xr in seawater and aside from speaker issues which manifested themselves just this year, it's going strong with no issues. So to hear an IP68 rated (supposedly) phone get completely bricked from some water exposure is unreal to me lol.
Not unreal. Go to Google or YouTube and plenty of phones have died from falling into pools or other bodies of water. It's not unheard of.

IP68 is NOT for saltwater, do not mislead people. Even iPhones have died in pools which are treated with chemicals, or saltwater. You guys are too disingenuous omg. Yes you were lucky, but IP68 is meant for a specific type of water not all. It does not mean waterproof.

iPhones generally have higher build quality and MSRP, so it's not crazy to assume difference in seal reliability. Perhaps their specific phone had a defective seal. It's hard to determine what happened and why. Did the user drop the phone previously on land, leading to a damaged seal?

Would the nice people on this forum please share the site/person/service they used to unlock their phone? TIA!
ThriftyGame5232 has the codes. Send him a PM.
Thanks. I guess I can send 30 messages max within a rolling 7 hours so I am able to send some unlock codes and converse a bit.
Please share the instructions with me, thanks!

8gb of Ram is plenty.

No need for gimmicky Ram boost, please avoid.

"Using RAM Boost makes a phone like the Moto G 5G 2024 worse, not better. Apps regularly glitch out or crash, and switching apps is slower with the feature enabled."

"In layman's terms, you're going to wear out the storage of your phone using virtual RAM long before you would if you don't."

Moto G 5G 2024 had a very weak processor vs Edge plus 2023 had a powerful processor. Ram boost is good if the device has a powerful processor. This is what I think.

You can think that, but it is wrong. That feature causes wear to SSDs. It's also largely unnecessary.

Thanks for catching that, I've edited my post. I looked into rooting my V20 way back in the day but their custom roms were never that stable and it would always have a really bad lag issue hence why I upgraded to the Stylus back then. Like the other post states, if this phone has high support for lineage rom, could be worth it. 8gb of ram would hopefully keep up with phones years from now but who knows, 32gb of ram could become the norm with budget phones in 6 years....

Alright I am in, let's go! Going to use the number on the s25 fe deal
can you share what deal?

is it the $99 deal from metro?
total cost is $99+$65 (plan) ?
wait 1 year for unlock?

i may get that deal,.
during that year use this MEP2022.
use the s25 fe after 1 year.

anyone looking to port out number form this deal?

edit:

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE will receive seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates from its global launch date, aligning with Samsung's industry-leading support policy for its flagship and mid-range devices.
This extensive update commitment ensures the device will stay current with new Android and One UI features and benefit from ongoing security patches to maintain its security and performance for an extended period.

This is the best active thread to find a port out number because most who buy this phone aren't staying with Boost after the 30-days is up.

No phone warranty covers water damage. Nice try. If you take iPhone with water damage to Apple they will not replace for free. Applecare can cover damage, but that is a paid service and not the standard warranty. Idk why so much misinformation on Slickdeals when it's so easier to verify information online lol.It is called an IP rating. iPhones and Galaxies are NOT waterproof. Phones are water resistant. IP ratings are for FRESHWATER not chemical or saltwater. These are not the same things. Chemically treated water is not what IP67/68 are intended for, so using in that situation is YMMV. There are reports of iPhones also malfunctioning in pools and unintended use cases. No one is replacing any phone with water damage for free in the USA under standard warranty. IP68 is not for all types of water. Many people misunderstand the rating and assume it's for any type of water or liquid.
Completely correct, but chlorine doesn't just make water enter the phone instantly. It can corrode gaskets over time and etc, but chlorinated water shouldn't instantly enter the phone at a 6 inch depth if the phone can truly withstand 1.5 meters at 30 mins of freshwater.
