10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.

You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

Just destroyed my Motorola Stylus 5g 2022 by jumping into a pool last weekend... It was the 6gb ram model I got from Metro back then, only took 6 months to unlock too. This 2023 edge+ looks really tempting but then again we'd only get about 6 years of support before the old OS won't support majority of the new apps as they do with every phone out there...
This Edge+ has Official LineageOS support pretty easy to install it once motorola support ends.
Are you saying that there's a LineageOS ROM that's available for this phone?
There is, but from what I've read you lose the Smart Connect(Ready For) ability, as it is built in to the Moto software.
That was the main reason I bought this phone, and it is fantastic. Only other phones that can do this are Samsungs, other than basic screen mirroring or a janky developer desktop mode like my pixel 9 Pro XL.

USMobile has Free 30 day trial with port in.
Hey guys, just checking if that's normal (uploaded photo). I'm assuming that is just their system assuming that I'll continue with pre paid plan, right? I shouldn't be actually billed for anything after the first month
yes port number out will cancel line but need call and ask for port pin.

But if someone got 10 of these phones with 10 SIM cards, I'm not sure the best way how they would handle this.

Does not make a difference, re-pair the phone to sim card during activation by entering the sim card number manually when prompted.
Sorry, but I don't understand what you're saying. I thought each phone will only work with one of the SIM cards, and I wasn't sure if anything bad would happen if trying to activate with the wrong SIM card in a phone. Are you saying that if the wrong SIM card is used for a phone, it will show a prompt asking to enter the correct SIM card number and then the current SIM card that's in the phone will be re-programmed with the new SIM number? Instead of trying to enter anything in a prompt, wouldn't it make more sense to just swap out the SIM card with the other one at that point?
But if someone got 10 of these phones with 10 SIM cards, I'm not sure the best way how they would handle this.
