Boost Mobile [boostmobile.com] has 512GB Motorola edge+ 2023 Smartphone (Boost Mobile Locked, Black) on sale for $59.99 + $60 1-Month Unlimited Talk/Text/Data Service = $119.99. Shipping is free.

This phone is now back in stock at Boost. It's a steal at this price still has better specs than most phones out there especially with 512gb of storage. I bought one on last years deal and was able to unlock it via one of the unlockers who were kicked off of eBay. Many didn't have the unlock codes yet back then but would assume their available now. YMMV. I currently use mine with Instabridge esim for 5gb of free data a month. Just bought another for my wife.

Note, on product page select "I don't want protection" or Boost Protect will be added to cart at $12/month.

Specs (source [motorola.com]):
Processor: Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm)
Display: 6.7" 1080x2400 165Hz pOLED
RAM: 8GB LPDDR5X
Storage: 512GB
Operating system: Android 13
Battery: 5100mah
Cameras:
Rear Camera Hardware - 50MP, 1/1.5" optical format, f/1.8 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 2.0µm, Omni-directional PDAF, Optical Image Stabilization, 50MP Ultrawide angle (114° FOV), Macro Vision, f/2.2 aperture, 0.64µm pixel size | Quad Pixel, Technology for 1.28µm, 12MP Portrait (2x telephoto), f/1.6 aperture, 1.22µm pixel size, Ambient Light Sensor
Front Camera Hardware - 60MP, f/2.2 aperture, 0.61µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 1.22µm

Question please! Boost will not able to bill me for the service once I turn off the AUTO-PAY correct? I just want to reassure, thank you!
They don't. You can also report credit card lost. You get a replacement card in 5 days
Thank you!

Appcloud notification is coming from Boost Mobile app. I turned off notifications for both Boost Mobile app and Boost diagnostic app. I also force stop and disabled appcloud app. I think that will stop any annoying appcloud notification. I didn't want to uninstall or disable the Boost Mobile app just in case I want to login into my account later. I still want access to the Boost Mobile app for my account access. After decluttering the unnecesary junk apps and games, the user interface is nice and clean. Motorola phones may come with lot of bloat but they are removable for me whether it be from Boost or Metro.

It takes combining Shizuku with Canta in order to remove system apps without root https://github.com/samolego/Canta

If camera quality is a very important factor for you, do some research before buying this. The photo and video quality is substantially worse that Pixel, Galaxy, OnePlus etc many brand's flagship phones.

I have heard lot of positives about the camera and it is pretty highly rated with the DXOMark. I am not a camera freak but I have been happy with my past few midrange Motorola phones cameras. With the Motorola Edge+ 2023 scoring a 130 DXOMark, it is a pretty solid score especially when the Samsung Galaxy S23, Apple iPhone 14 and Google Pixel 7a all scored a 133 DXOMark. Very similar scoring. Phone cameras have been so good since the past 3-5 years that the yearly improvements are so minute and the gap from midrange and flagship phone cameras is small. I have a Pixel 9a which is my best phone camera too but the others perform well to my eyes.

I don't have any of the Facebook or Meta apps. I think that I just uninstalled them. None of those are appearing on my apps list. I just have Boost Config, Boost Diagnostics, Boost Installer, Boost Mobile showing on my list (2 showing in my drawer) and Appcloud (disabled). Visual Voicemail showing. I don't mind a couple brand apps showing whether it be Boost or Metro. I just don't want to see like a dozen bloatware apps and silly games. Boost and Metro are cleaning looking once I uninstalled the junk.

I put an active Verizon (postpaid) SIM card in it and it works.
However, I can't turn WiFi calling on. When I try I get "Unable to activate Wi-Fi calling at this time. Please try again later."

Has anyone succeeded in getting Verizon WiFi calling to work?

From the various youtube videos about the camera on this phone, it actually is impressive quality. Kind of matches the iPhone tbh. Though that shouldn't be hard for modern smartphones. It still is impressive for Motorola to have finally gotten their quality together.

i replaced my card with prepaid one from myprepaidcenter it had less then $1 on it left.

I removed it to get 30 day guarantee plan refunded to correct card and it wouldn't re-add then it worked few days later to re-add.

I can't turn on Wi-Fi Calling on the Edge+ 2023 on Visible, which is VZW as well. On my Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 I can't use Mobile Hotspot or Wi-Fi Calling. It's really messed up. It's an oversight on Motorola's software only affects their phones running Android 15. Moto's elevated tech support called me a few days ago after I complained. It took me almost 2 months for them to get to that point. They promised a fix for October's security fix for all Moto devices on Android 15. We shall see if they actually fix it.
