Boost Mobile [boostmobile.com] has 512GB Motorola edge+ 2023 Smartphone (Boost Mobile Locked, Black) on sale for $59.99 + $60 1-Month Unlimited Talk/Text/Data Service = $119.99. Shipping is free.

This phone is now back in stock at Boost. It's a steal at this price still has better specs than most phones out there especially with 512gb of storage. I bought one on last years deal and was able to unlock it via one of the unlockers who were kicked off of eBay. Many didn't have the unlock codes yet back then but would assume their available now. YMMV. I currently use mine with Instabridge esim for 5gb of free data a month. Just bought another for my wife.

Note, on product page select "I don't want protection" or Boost Protect will be added to cart at $12/month.

Specs (source [motorola.com]):
Processor: Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm)
Display: 6.7" 1080x2400 165Hz pOLED
RAM: 8GB LPDDR5X
Storage: 512GB
Operating system: Android 13
Battery: 5100mah
Cameras:
Rear Camera Hardware - 50MP, 1/1.5" optical format, f/1.8 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 2.0µm, Omni-directional PDAF, Optical Image Stabilization, 50MP Ultrawide angle (114° FOV), Macro Vision, f/2.2 aperture, 0.64µm pixel size | Quad Pixel, Technology for 1.28µm, 12MP Portrait (2x telephoto), f/1.6 aperture, 1.22µm pixel size, Ambient Light Sensor
Front Camera Hardware - 60MP, f/2.2 aperture, 0.61µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 1.22µm

Freezing your credit card is only for new purchases. They still let recurring purchases which Boost would probably qualify for to go through.
Nope, if the credit card company let the charge goes through after you already freeze your card, then the credit card company has to pay for that not you because it is clearly their fault.

1 guess as to where the seller is getting them from ?edit:Motorola Moto Edge+ Plus 2023 6.7" OLED 512GB 50MP 5G 8GB - NEW SEALED UNLOCKEDPhone is brand new, still factory sealed, never opened, fully unlocked. This is a Boost Mobile variant, will be shipped with the unique unlock code that you can enter on the phone, which will unlock the phone permanently to be used with any carrier of your choice.
Hahaha they are all from this deal. The seller who sells the sealed one will be in trouble if the phone is not activated within 30 days. I guess that seller didn't know. Surprise $600 full charged later on....

You can activate without opening the boxes most times. Call activity from that device is not necessary, at least not currently.

You can activate them on website without opening the box. It just asks for sim card number on the line activation page. You don't have to insert sim card or anything.

After activation you can even put sim card into another unlocked phone and it will reactivate it to the different phone.

moto edge 40 and this edge plus are two different cameras with the latter not tested by DXO. The moto 40 has F1.4 vs F1.8 for the Edge. The F1.4 is almost a full stop improvement in lower light and better shutter speed for any movement.

edge 40 pro
is identical to this edge+ 2023

https://www.phonearena.com/phones...2149,12121

That link is the Moto Edge 40, not Moto Edge 40 Pro.

I just got this Motorola Edge+ 2023 and I have been so impressed. It has the best phone display that I ever had in my life but the great speakers and haptics vibration really makes the user experience more immersive. To have great haptics really makes it enjoyable. I am not used to this great strong haptics with my other phones. Motorola user interface are always great. I can't really judge the battery life as I didn't use it enough to fully judge. I am actually a little bit concerned to use the provided 68w charger because I always believed that really really fast charging hurts the battery in the long run especially if it heats up. I haven't used the 68w charger yet. I am still using a 25w charger which charges pretty fast. I am using the 80% battery mode and it says it charges to 100% like once a week for calibration. No games for me yet. I am really digging Smart Connect with a monitor, Bluetooth keyboard, mouse and JBL Flip 5 speaker. Very nice desktop experience and much better than just mirroring from my other phone.
  • It is actually more comfortable to use and carry around than my Motorola G Stylus 2022 (heavy) and Motorola G Stylus 2025. I think not having a screen protector, lip on sides of the case and just having the edge display makes it more comfortable in my hand. It reminds me of the comfort of my Samsung Galaxy A71 5G. Very similar size specs. Big phone but still comfortable to carry around.

Yea. I purchased the Anker 5-in-1 USB hub for $9.99 sale (retail $19.99) so that device will help charge and also display at the same time. After ordering, I was looking at the expensive Motorola dock but I believe it doesn't charge the phone and I believe Gullzway mentioned how he uses a USB hub with charging and HDMI out. I looked into that and ordered the Anker model for $9.99 sale. Tomorrow I should get my Motorola Edge +2023. I know I will like the phone and Smart Connect too. I am digging the Motorola G Stylus 2025 right now and typing on it now.
I was about to get that same Anker hub, but saw that its HDMI output only supports 4K at 30Hz. I believe this phone should be able to output on its USB-C port 4K at 60Hz. So looking to get this Sabrent hub instead (https://www.amazon.com/SABRENT-US...B08V3PHKR8), which is slight cheaper, and says its HDMI supports 4K at 60Hz.

Just an FYI I purchased this phone from boost and followed the unlock instructions here and was able to unlock the device successfully however when I try to transfer a visible esim to this boost mobile phone it says that the IMEI is not available for visible network. Looks like the network unlock will still not make this phone work on some networks like visible. Has anyone had any luck with using this phone on visible network with esim after unlock?

The Boost Motorola Edge+ 2023 (unlocked) worked perfectly fine with my Visible physical sim. I just tested the phone calls and data. I didn't try to test my Visible hotspot.

I have always been battery thrifty from my habit. As for end of life? Hopefully Motorola gives it 3 system updates and 4 years of security. I thought this was the phone that people had big gripe about expensive flagship getting just 2 system updates and 3 years of security updates and Motorola may have changed it to 3 system updates and 4 years security? If a phone is really good, I may just use free highly rated Avast antivirus if it stopped getting security updates. I do use my Motorola G Stylus 2022 that stopped receiving security updates as like mini tablet.
