10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.

You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

I am currently using it with xfinity for free 1 year unlimited plan .
I saw it got 5G+.
my main number.
wish folks would read at a minimum:
at least the first 2 pages and the last 2 pages.
Can avoid unnecessary post and keep threads manageable.

Did you have to call in to get it activated with Xfinity? XM compatibility checker keeps saying my Edge+ isn't compatible for some reason. Tried both IMEI1 and 2

It's very difficult to make this work with at least esim for any service provider I guess.. had to let the no die i guess
Don't see how US Mobile could not see the device as eligible when it's specifically listed as one of their eSIM compatible phones.
When setting up the port-in for 30 day free trial just a few days ago they never asked for an IMEI to check device eligibility, only provided a compatible device list then sent the eSIM via eMail as soon as the port in was completed. Did not happen to be using the Edge+ for that line so don't have a data point to confirm if it worked in my case unfortunately.

my imei from mep2023 also returned incompatible.
the rep at the store knew this and so did i.
so i gave him imei of a old inactive iphone 8 (i think it was).
he activated a sim on that imei
i inserted the sim into the MEP 2023.
all works w/o issue

Got it working on Visible, no thanks to their customer service. Esim is no go, but I made the mistake of giving them the imei of the Edge+ to activate the psim they mailed me. Another no go. I've read you can give them the imei of a phone that will work on their network, and then that psim will work in the Edge+. I had a different Verizon psim that I put in the Edge+, worked as it should, then swapped it for the Visible psim, and now it works fine.
1. How throttled is the traffic? Or is it no throttle, just deprioritized?
2. Do I have to use it in a phone or a modem is fine?
3. Since it says BYOD, I assume it would work on any Android 5G phone?

I am trying to port it into esim to avoid the hassle of getting sim and activate since boost allows only 4 days.. it's failing with us mobile.. I wonder if this esim option really works.. there is no use of esim then if it's not working correctly.. may be they configured for CDMA and not sim network
Did you use US Mobile app to do activation with esim of this phone? It needs to be activated with carrier app, for your case US mobile app. Try that and see. Don't use browser.
