Boost Mobile [boostmobile.com] has 512GB Motorola edge+ 2023 Smartphone (Boost Mobile Locked, Black) on sale for $59.99 + $60 1-Month Unlimited Talk/Text/Data Service = $119.99. Shipping is free.

This phone is now back in stock at Boost. It's a steal at this price still has better specs than most phones out there especially with 512gb of storage. I bought one on last years deal and was able to unlock it via one of the unlockers who were kicked off of eBay. Many didn't have the unlock codes yet back then but would assume their available now. YMMV. I currently use mine with Instabridge esim for 5gb of free data a month. Just bought another for my wife.

Note, on product page select "I don't want protection" or Boost Protect will be added to cart at $12/month.

Specs (source [motorola.com]):
Processor: Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm)
Display: 6.7" 1080x2400 165Hz pOLED
RAM: 8GB LPDDR5X
Storage: 512GB
Operating system: Android 13
Battery: 5100mah
Cameras:
Rear Camera Hardware - 50MP, 1/1.5" optical format, f/1.8 aperture, 1.0µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 2.0µm, Omni-directional PDAF, Optical Image Stabilization, 50MP Ultrawide angle (114° FOV), Macro Vision, f/2.2 aperture, 0.64µm pixel size | Quad Pixel, Technology for 1.28µm, 12MP Portrait (2x telephoto), f/1.6 aperture, 1.22µm pixel size, Ambient Light Sensor
Front Camera Hardware - 60MP, f/2.2 aperture, 0.61µm pixel size | Quad Pixel Technology for 1.22µm

Motorola stopped creating the new version of Edge+ after 2023, so maybe fans are still wanting this version.
Only in the USA. They have several Edge + equivalents internationally. That's why I don't understand wtf they're doing. Their regional team only brings the base Edge phones to the USA. They're still manufacturing this model as of 2025 and I think that's VERY unusual. Makes the Edge 2024 and 2025 unnecessary.

What's the chance of this coming back in stock? Fingers crossed there is more in a warehouse.

Anyone experienced package return to sender / boost recalling these packages after shipping? Especially for iPhone 16e?

Yea. The battery is quite impressive for such a powerful processor. There are so many PROs to this phone. Even when I put my Samsung, Pixel and this Motorola phone all side by side, I actually think the Motorola has the best user interface of the 3. They all have very good user interface but I think Motorola has the best interface of the bunch. I guess the edge panel would be called a con as it is impossible for tempered glass protection. The obvious con is the longevity of software support but apps still get their security support from app store and I have avast free app on my older outdated phones. I still used my outdated security Motorola G Stylus 2022 as "mini tablet" and didn't get viruses. I think there is some exaggeration and fear mongering when it comes to security updates. The phone isn't a brick once it gets its last security update. I think it is also companies wanting planned obsolescence. Motorola wants you to buy more phones every couple years. System updates? There are barely any noticeable difference between operating system updates and I got the Pixel. Sure it would be better to get Samsung or Pixel long software support but I don't think a high percentage of customers use their phones for 5 years especially with "phone bordemn" and battery wear and tear. This Motorola phone is definitely the best Motorola phone that I ever got and probably the best phone ever for me. It is the highest launched MSRP phone that I got so I shouldn't be too surprised.
I bought the new Pixel 10 and this Motorola Edge 2023 plus at the same time.
I have to say in every way except two points, I am finding edge having the edge. I find it as snappy as the Pixel 10. The display is as good. Maybe there's a lesser resolution but to the naked eye I don't see any difference.

It's slim tall size enables one to hold it easily in one hand but still have large screen that fits more Unlike everyone else, I find the curved edges to be classy. Left swipe from edge works very well with the edge.

512GB vs 128 GB for a lesser price too.

On the cons, I haven't had time enough to see photo quality. There's definitely lesser software updates as everyone else has mentioned.

One difference between US and rest of the world, there's very few carrier independent devices. Almost every new device is bought through a carrier. I assume Motorola has to go and sell it to the carrier before the customer.
Look at Pixel 10. They had to make it eSIM only most likely due to pressure from carriers?

the camera software sucks on this. it over processes the image unless you shoot raw format or find another camera app

The Edge 50 Ultra, Not sold in the US, was an upgrade with a snapdragon 8 gen 3. After that it's downhill. Edge 60 Pro with a Mediatek Dimensity 8350, no display out.

I think the Motorola Edge+ 2023 camera is really good and the DXOmark agrees as it has a whopping 130 score. It is a smidge under the Samsung Galaxy S23, iPhone 14 and Pixel 7a cameras that have 133 score. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro has the same camera as the Motorola Edge+ 2023 camera.

Android has "Google Play System" updates, which is updated independently of the manufacturer. It addresses some modular parts of Android, so security is still addressed to a degree.

Personally I have not encountered a virus or malicious app on Android, because I don't use anything shady. The odds of installing a malicious app or being attacking through vulnerabilities (with very specific flaws), aren't high. The Play Store does have bad apps, though I think with common sense they can be avoided. Kids and seniors probably install junk.

This is definitely the best Moto Ive used since the Moto Edge 2020. That one had a more interesting waterfall display.

We definitely need an upgrade. I highly doubt the Razr Ultra or whatever, is selling well in the US. Whoever is leading Moto US is horrible. This phone could honestly last me 3 years, depending on RAM usage of newer apps.

The Moto camera app is meh. I prefer gcam for photos.

***** Yea. I don't mess around with any shady sites with odd streaming links and don't download any scam emails. I usually do change my phones like every 2 years but I could definitely see myself using this Motorola Edge+ 2023 for +3 years even when it should stop receiving updates. I had the Moto Z2 Force and that was my most enjoyable Motorola phone but this Motorola Edge+ 2023 clearly beats it out due to the improvements like larger screen (5.5" vs 6.67"), speakers, camera, etc.. I actually enjoy my Motorola G Stylus 2020, 2022 and 2025. The 2025 model is worthy of daily driver for me but isn't on par with the Edge+ 2023 if one values a great display and great speakers.
