10/3/2025.
Reports are that boost may may changed their T & C.
(Around 10/1/2025 . maybe, not clear)
Requiring activating phone and using service for some time.
(3 months?).
Do your research.
However, may not matter much as phone appears to be gone for good from boost website.

You must activate the phone on boost network within 30 days of purchase.
If not you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
best practice=open the phone. activate the boost account. make a call or 2. send a text or 2
phone call &/or text just insures the phone number has been fully registered on the boost network
while not entirely necessary, just to be safe.
and not get a $600 bill or get sent to collections
[ which has happened to at least one user on this thread ]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
make sure u activate.
By checking this box I agree to e-transaction/e-signature, Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions. Once activated I authorize Boost Mobile to automatically charge my card monthly for my Boost Mobile services, taxes and surcharges. My service will not begin until my SIM is activated. If you do not activate your Device(s) on the Boost Mobile network within 30 days of purchase, you may be charged the full MSRP of the Device(s) (less your purchase price), if applicable, to the card used today or any alternative method. . I also agree to receive communications regarding this order via email, SMS, or phone call using the contact information provided

Buying multiple phones?
Consider this.
The first phone will be 120.
Subsequent phones (either purchased at same time on withing next few days) will be less.
Boost has a weird way of billing and its often confusion. No one has figured it out yet.
Many have made speculations:
For example. Below is from a user.
My first purchase cost me $125.90 in total then subsequently thereafter I purchased 2x more phones which came out to $94.84 each.
Since you bought the first phone at regular price, Boost treats any further purchases as an additional line since they're on the same account.
However, bear in mind Boost will automatically enable autopay again so be sure to disable it prior to your next billing cycle recurring.

Look at Pixel 10. They had to make it eSIM only most likely due to pressure from carriers?
It also saves space inside the phone, making modern devices like the iPhone Air and next year's iPhone Foldable possible.
I would like to get unlock code 🙏 ThriftyGame5232
Private message sent. Thank you.

I would like to get another unlock code. ThriftyGame5232. I did sent a PM. Thank you.
Edit: Upon checking my Boost app the devices are indeed activated prior to arrival. So much for the steps outlined in the thread to activate properly.
But I manually went to the site to log in to track the shipment (I've done it before prior to pre-activation), and the site appears to have sent a code to the new #, which I obviously don't have yet. *facepalm
Previously, the code was sent to my email.
EDIT0: I DO see the tracking id in the "Your Order is Shipping Soon" email.

"Personally I have not encountered a virus or malicious app on Android, because I don't use anything shady. The odds of installing a malicious app or being attacking through vulnerabilities (with very specific flaws), aren't high. The Play Store does have bad apps, though I think with common sense they can be avoided. Kids and seniors probably install junk.
This is definitely the best Moto Ive used since the Moto Edge 2020. That one had a more interesting waterfall display."
***** Yea. I don't mess around with any shady sites with odd streaming links and don't download any scam emails. I usually do change my phones like every 2 years but I could definitely see myself using this Motorola Edge+ 2023 for +3 years even when it should stop receiving updates. I had the Moto Z2 Force and that was my most enjoyable Motorola phone but this Motorola Edge+ 2023 clearly beats it out due to the improvements like larger screen (5.5" vs 6.67"), speakers, camera, etc.. I actually enjoy my Motorola G Stylus 2020, 2022 and 2025. The 2025 model is worthy of daily driver for me but isn't on par with the Edge+ 2023 if one values a great display and great speakers.
Anyone use overcharge protection and having this issue? When I charge it will go past 80% without stopping till 100. My old 2024 moto g power would stop charging at 80% but cant get the edge 2023+ to stop. I use battery bot pro to signal me but would rather it natively stop charging.
Settings --> Overcharge Protection (Limit to 80%)
When I first learned of the sweet-spot, I just kept my range @ 60-40%, because prior, I had always kept my phone plugged in unless I was mobile which was much less frequent, and eventually my batteries would get puffy/pillowy.
I'd think *IF* a batt charge controller keeps track of voltage extreme ends, you'd basically only want to do a full charge/discharge once.
Possibly over time after a # of charge/discharges occur within your life-saving charge-range, you *MAY* want to do it full again, but I'd think that'd be very rare, like maybe every 100 or few charge cycles. Particularly with the reason being the harm coming from a full discharge at least.
Myself, I'd be satisified just playing it safe and keeping it in my sweet-spot. I had been using the magisk module ACC. I was just going to write my own simple script until I found out about it, and theirs is already feature-ful.

- But do you realize that once a week, it will charge to 100% to keep it calibrated? It isn't always supposed to charge only at 80% every time.
Any particular reason people think Li-based battery chemistry require "calibration"? It's not like NiCd.When I first learned of the sweet-spot, I just kept my range @ 60-40%, because prior, I had always kept my phone plugged in unless I was mobile which was much less frequent, and eventually my batteries would get puffy/pillowy.

Most phones in this range on SD are slow or have too many compromises, like 128GB or poor screen. The battery on this phone with custom is unlike anything I've seen. Most times I charge every 3 days.
