You'll be denied. 5/24 or something like that
I got the offer in the app when I clicked, did the pre-approval, then the terms just said "not current cardholder" so I applied and got the $200 bonus. I cancelled my last card in April.

what does that even mean? Confused

It means you should apply a dozen times to make sure you get approved.

I got offered $60, LOL. 845 credit score, house paid off, no other loans. My daughter has a better score than I do because she has a mortgage and car loans.

They don't do a credit check if you already have a chase credit card. At least they didn't when I got mine.

If it wasn't for heard inquiry, people would be opening new credit cards like buying groceries every day. I don't like it either but think it's necessary.
I get one of these every 6 months or so a Wells Fargo card with $150-200 if I spend $500 in the first 90 days and several other cards for case per year and my credit is still excellent. I just get the cash, pay off the card and close it. Usually I will do something like spend the $500 in one go get the bill at the end of the month and pay $300 then a few days later I get the $200 credit and the card is $0 balanced. Wait a couple weeks and close it. Aparantly it hasn't been hurting my credit at all but I own a house, have several car loans paid off ETC. I get especially happy whenever I screw over Wells Fargo because they screwed me over when I was in my 20's. I called got a credit card payoff amount wrote a check that day and sent it then I went moved locations and I didn't give them forwarding info because I was under the impression the account was paid off. Well several months later I went for a car loan and my credit was in the toilet and I had $2000 of charges due from Wells Fargo. They said I had $.08 in fees in the 3 days my check took to get there and then the next month I didn't make a payment so.... late fee on the 8 cents compounded for several months. I was young and dumb so I paid it but every chance I get I get my revenge on Wells Fargo. I have plans to one day maybe when the house is paid off to run up a Wells Fargo card to 15 or 20 grand and burn it! But the good thing about it all is at least I am not bitter Stick Out Tongue

You could also check if you're 'pre-qualified' before actually filling out the application. Doing that doesn't affect your credit score and saves you time.

15 years ago a buddy of mine added me as an "extended family member" to his Prime account. We lost touch soon after that but I've always had free Prime shipping benefits since then, and I've never had to pay a cent for it all these years.

So to get the benefit from this card I'd have to pay for a legit Prime membership. $140/yr is a tough pill to swallow. Guess I'll pass, but if I had to pay for Prime I'd def get this card.
