Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItbI6zCwAJc

Some notes I found interesting: The inverter starts at 110V which is a bit low already, and if you use a 50ft+ extension cord and pull say 1000W with this it's possible you end up with 100V at your load which is bad. As you add more load the voltage drops alarmingly as well. If you get to 2400W and above it just keeps dropping the voltage instead of tripping. The review shows under 90V at one point. This was tested at 1.7kwh capacity, so about 80% of rated capacity (85-88% is common in this class). My take: If you have non-sensitive equipment and want a battery that draws low wattage for a reasonable amount of time, this is decent. But this doesn't perform like other 2kwh batteries from what I've seen.

not afaik, i think those errors might be tied to something else.. 1 of my friends got same error when he was buying via phone, he moved to PC and it went away. maybe try another browser, perhaps?
I'm not sure what's wrong. I've gotten the code to process/register on a few of the attempts but every time I get to the final pay now, the code gets rejected with that message.

Unfortunately it's not a slickdeal thing, it's a corporate consolidation thing. Back in the Wild West of the internet, when there were 100's of different websites, and thousands of different suppliers and manufacturers you could get some deals, or price mistakes. Now it's all about saving a couple dollars on things that brick and mortar stores carry, until they all get run out of business, then it'll just be "deals" on whatever the corporate overlords deem to let us get a good deal on.

If this was lithium ion, I never would have considered getting one, way too much risk with a no name on that chemistry. This looks so much like the Aferiy AF-P210 that it was at least worth a try, especially at such a steep discount. Aferiy is also a new name but there are plenty of those reviews on YouTube. I was considering one some time ago so watch a bunch of reviews, enough to know that these probably won't burn anything enough. Which ever OEM made the Aferiy probably also make this one for Solarplay as well.

The voltage drop instead of tripping a shutoff when you overload this past 2400 watt draw is probably the only real detriment for this power station but if you don't overload for your use, it's not a real problem.
Realistically, are people really going to be using something like this to power 3 hair dryers at the same time? You would never consider doing that on a 20amp home circuit so would would you be doing that on this thing? Those torture tests some reviewers put these things through isn't realistic. You're not making coffee, running a saw and powering a heater at same time.

The coupon is being rejected on checkout, saying "Single use only". Without the coupon it's $475.30.

Same for me. I see a message about it being a single use coupon.

This Solarplay Q2501 and the similar Aferiy P210 were $700 to $1000 for the past year and people were buying them because it was considered a deal for the features and capacity. The lowest I saw the Aferiy was a $430 deal late last year that I missed out on and this $375 for the Solarplay is the lowest if seen it. $475 is still a good price if you absolutely need one now but I'd definitely wait for another coupon/sale to come around to get it below $400 again.

Do you think it would be useful as a power supply to my Jackery when the Jackery power is spent to 0%? Then the voltage loss wouldn't be relevant, correct?

Yeah, not as relevant, though you'll have significant losses (20-30%?) going from lifepo4 to inverter to charge controller to lifepo4, vs a battery being charged directly.

so this deal spec wise is better than the ecoflow deal linked to below Even at 80% ac. $80 less and better specs on every category. Am I missing something? https://slickdeals.net/f/18398428-refurbished-ecoflow-delta-3-1500-1536wh-portable-power-station-lfp-battery-459

Ahh, I marked your comment as helpful because it is. So not only would it be cheaper to just buy a battery, but it would be quite more efficient? A little confused as how to connect the battery to the Jackery though. Do you have an example you can start me with? I can research a bit from there. Jackery is my FIRST foray into this market. Been using APC for YEARS now.

Ideally you'd get the size all-in-one battery you needed, so if you need larger you'd buy a larger all in one. Or build your system with separate components (batteries, charge controller, inverter, and solar panels or grid), so you can upgrade components as needed.

If you want to expand your existing all-in-one battery, you either have to buy an expansion battery from the company (if possible), or do something like what you're doing, which has inefficiencies. Plugging a bare lifepo4 battery directly into the solar inputs of your Jackery (if possible) would be more efficient than charging it from another all-in-one, and probably cheaper, but you'd have the challenge of charging the lifepo4 after you used it. Lifepo4 chargers are cheap, but require 120v, and you could even charge it FROM the Jackery when you had excess power. Or you could get a charge controller and solar for it. If you're at home, this might be simple enough to do after an outage. If you're remote, and you have panels for the Solarplay too, daisy chaining multiple all-in-one batteries might be better for you. You can see it somewhat depends on use case.
