Idiots always mock made in China quality, but the top brands are made in China, even Apple! It's been like 2 decades, they're very good at high quality mass production now.

Even if you get it you should only use their proprietary apps if you want to avoid privacy issues from many apps you could choose to install. That is their stated goal, to build up their own app ecosystem.
This (to me) looks like it is either 1) Way too early to benefit from, or 2) a big flop, just waiting to happen, based on lack of participation at this insane price.
