I got this on last deal. works great. lasts waaay longer than I need it to and it's fairly loud. I paid a bit more last time though so at sub $10 it's a fantastic deal.

Same here, was happy with it last time for that same price, and just got another. It is a really good battery life using nightly to fall asleep with the auto timer of half hour of white noise. Good for my needs at this price.

Would not work at first tried several times till I just clicked the promo code in the post and took me to the Amazon page then just clicked check out and showed the discounted price.

I use my iPhone or iPad to create white noise. I am not sure why you would need a separate device?

Truth about it lasting long, I bought this the last time the deal was up here and haven't had to charge it yet I use it every night

I love this little device; I bought it last time it was on sale. When I go to sleep, I have a podcast app on my phone that I use to play bedtime stories that put me to sleep. Often, if the mind doesn't have a gentle task to follow, it will start wandering and begin thinking of all kinds of issues that keep you awake. My podcast timer is set for 45 minutes and I fall asleep real quick. But often I wake up at night, and instead of grabbing my phone and have a blast of light hit me in the face, I reach for my dreamegg noise machine. I can feel the power button by the little nub on the bottom. I press and hold for about two seconds and it turns on, keeping my set sound at timer settings. I listen to rain and have it set for 90 minutes. I would say fidelity is 7/10. Volume is good, I don't have it maxed out. Besides using it for a gentle focus, it can be handy for drowning out sounds. Get one, definitely worth it.

Just wanted to chime in with a positive vote. Verified purchaser from the last time these things popped up back in February. If you need a white/pink noise machine, this thing is GREAT. My wife and I agree that most of the sounds are useless (and the "ssssshhhhhhhhh" sound is downright creepy) but the white/pink noise option and the 90 minute timer are great. Can be very quiet or quiet loud with good volume change increments. We use it everyday. I'm not a shill.

I also bought the slightly larger version to compare. Large version can sound a little closer to one of those "fans-in-a-box" machines (I'm guessing because the speaker is bigger and bassier) but it wasn't a big enough difference to keep it.
