I got this on last deal. works great. lasts waaay longer than I need it to and it's fairly loud. I paid a bit more last time though so at sub $10 it's a fantastic deal.

I saw it on the page and came to say the same thing. My at home white noise choice is the lectro-fan… I USED to travel with it. The little "egg" is my travel buddy now. Very pleased with it.

Depends on how you play white noise/rain/whatever on your phone. Do you want to hear commercials, changes in volume levels? I certainly don't. How many times to you pick up your phone when going to bed to play sleep music, then then next thing you know, you spent forty minutes on youtube and facebook?

I bought this a few months ago. It is fantastic if you travel some. It gets extremely loud for how small it is and helps a lot if hotel rooms have thin walls or is next to a highway.

The positivity is merited. Perfect if you want something that:

-Has respectable battery life
-Has good volume
-Is portable
-Will free up having to use a phone for ambient sounds
-Is easily replaceable if your 3 year old breaks it

If you need one of these this one is great. It lasts weeks on a single charge and is loud. It is also nice and small and easy to store.
