Given the specs, this seems like a steal. Anyone have this model that can comment?

Trying to decide if to go for this or wait for a price drop in the 2024 g14 with 32gb... If it goes anywhere near it's price back in November it's an easy call for 200$ more, but I haven't seen a deal on it in a while and this looks pretty tempting

Same. I wonder if the MSRP markdown changed between when OP posted this and today. It's showing $1999 (11% off) before the code is applied.

Last time I looked into this model everywhere I read it said only 50w TDP with a +15W boost up to 65 and it performs like a full powered 4050. Are we sure it's a higher TDP?

I think it's 50W with 15W boost based on youtube videos I've seen of similar 14" Transcend 4070 models.

I had this laptop since its release. Decent performing machine, and quite portable with beautiful display (albeit some quality issues with the chassis). Absolutely do not expect anywhere near 4070 performance though, it's heavily nerfed due to its wattage. The higher wattage 4060 oled laptops (e.g. Legion Slim 5) are much more worth it if you can get it for around $1000 on sale.

Do you use any productivity apps or do video editing? If so, how has it been?

Also, I heard you can flash a different laptops vBIOS to get a higher wattage for the GPU.
