The pitchers have a 2-month timer on their filter reminders. I don't want to keep track of how many times I've reset the filter timer before really having to replace the filter.
EDIT: Apparently my pitcher is old. The newer ones let you specify if you installed a 2-month or 6-month filter.

I ordered this from Amazon. the elite version feels so much lighter in weight compared to the regular white filter. I suspect that I got the fakes from Amazon. however this item has 50k reviews on Amazon. so not sure what's going on. I have asked Amazon to replace my filters to see if I get a better luck 2nd time
