Yeah, but the payment processor they're using requires your SSN and bank account. It's not a straight gift card.

I can confirm the credit is a discount code that doesn't stack with sale prices, if you try use the discount code on a sale then the price will revert to full price, the sale prices are usually better than $150. The discount code is worthless unless you absolutely cannot wait for a sale. Otherwise the $100 is better as you can still get the sale price and $100.

from what I've heard, the $150 is just a discount code and is not stackable so get the $100 and you will get a better upgrade deal

I see recent posts where people were able to apply the discount code received for the 6a to their purchase of another phone (not the Pixel 10) from Google that had a discount. It is unclear if the phone purchased was also using a discount code, therefore allowing two discount codes. I would like to purchase the Pixel 10 which as you probably know has a discount for pre-orders. Anyone know if the $150 code for the 6a battery issue can be stacked alone with the current promotion for the Pixel 10?

What promotion for the Pixel 10 are you referring to?It's full price, and you get some store credit after purchase. They sent out a $100 promo code, but it can't be used with the $150 off, only One promo code per order. Shady move Google.

I saw that $100 is in my checking account already, so I went ahead and submitted the form to close my Payoneer account.

FYI, this is the form

https://payoneer.custhelp.com/app...unt/p/5486

note that the form does not work in firefox because the captcha isn't showing up for some reason, use other browsers such as chrome instead.
You can also just logon your account, go to profile settings, and then click on the "close account" button. No need to fill out form.

Indeed. Instead of Store Credit they gave a promo code for the $150 off.Obviously intentional so you couldn't use with offers like the $100 off email they sent yesterday or 10% off Military discount.Sleazy. Back to Oneplus after this Pixel 9 Pro XL.
For the Pixel 10, I was planning on stacking:
- $100 promo email discount
- $150 defective battery credit
- $150 6a trade-in
= $400 total credits

Can anyone confirm that the $150 defective battery credit + $100 promo email discount aren't stackable? Sucks if not.

Was denied. Was told the following:

Upon checking I could see that your device battery was not impacted by the software update

Don't know what you did differently to get a free phone, but congrats!

One family member got their $100 within a week. I'm a month into waiting. So is my partner. Every time I ask Google, I get a canned answer.

Took 3 weeks of back and forth to end up getting denied. When I questioned why, they asked for a lot of follow up information like proof of purchase. I bought this phone back in 2022 for my daughter and have no idea where I bought it. Google is pretty good at F**king over their loyal customers.

I received $81.22 for my 6a return, making my net purchase price for the 9a $188.44.

$499 MSRP - $100 discount - $150 credit for battery update + $20.66 tax - $81.22 6a trade-in = $188.44.

My 9a is functioning flawless on the US Mobile network while I'm road tripping all over the US. What was once a disaster has turned into a solid $lickDeal.

As I mentioned in the email I received a unique code for $150 off in addition to the $100 store credit that everyone receives after their purchase. I have seen several people state they stacked the $150 off received for the battery issue in addition to another code, for example the $150 off I mentioned. I know the terms state it can be stacked but at the same time many said they could not. Maybe their posts were not accurate or there was something else that allowed the two to be stacked.
