It may be a good deal but you'd already have to know you needed this to buy it . You'd have to be prepared to run underground watering system . Which most people are not DIy'ing . And if they are hiring someone then most likely they are installing what they provide / use as a business. There's actually a lot that goes in to a proper irrigation system

Not many people just buying sprinkler heads on a whim with no in ground irrigation

Not only that, I do need a few new sprinkler heads but I don't need ones with 35 foot spray distance

I prefer the gear drive non-impact sprinklers. Quiet when you're watering the lawn at night... no tick tick tick tick tick tick tick t-t-t-t-t-t-t-tick tick tick tick!

You will need to take a few things into account when sizing heads/nozzles. City pressure generally runs about 12-ish gallons per minute at 40-ish PSI through a 1/2 inch line. Manufacturer claiming this will throw 35' at 40 PSI with a 3 gpm nozzle. I wouldn't go more than 3 on a zone just to be safe due to drops in pressure. If you're using it on a pump system, I would go for a 3/4 inlet for better performance.

I like the tick, tick, tick, but you have to re-adjust these every year because they get knocked out of position. A family fried is a landscaper and he loves these, he either adjusts them every year or resods the dead spots. Smilie

Exactly. Get yourself a K-Rain or Hunter gear drive. Way more equal coverage

Down, yes. The green screw can be turned into the water stream to break it up more meaning less distance.
