This thing is now 7 years old and it has to have a replacement coming soon as that is quite old for this technology.
with that said, it has about the best speaker system in its class for sure.

I have this. It sounds and plays fantastic. It's missing modern amenities like bluetooth and app connectivity, but if all you need is a practice rig for your office or something to perform voice lessons with, that sounds and feels really good, can't go wrong this

Is there a pull-out dust cover for the keys?

I have been wanting to buy this or the 165 for a while now. As said, they are much older now, and compared to the Clavinovas, it may be worth the extra for the Clavinovas instead (e.g. 835, 845). The Clavinovas have Bluetooth, a bunch of awesome sounds, and the 845 has wooden keys.

Yup. All you have to do is then figure out how you're going to move and house a grand piano, or the clapped out upright that has been used as a plant stand and needs more than just a tuning to be usable, or an electric that has been sitting in someone's garage with bird seed and mouse droppings in between the keys.

"quite old for this technology"

I bet $5 that you cannot tell which one is the newer version when two digital pianos are placed side-by-side.

At the same price point, the difference in key action/sound sampling/speaker quality between newer/older models is marginal.

I have the 164 and it's great. This is a pretty good price for a 184. Slightly better all around.

I feel this is now over priced for this technology. This piano has been around for a long time now, and doesn't have any of the bells and whistles that newer models have. It's a solid piano for a beginner with good key action and sound, but at this price point, I'd expect a Clavinova.
