I was interested in the 15.6" Chromebook until learning that it was cheaper last November. 9 months older and the price has INCREASED? I'm not surprised but completely discouraged. If I had to have it, I suppose I would bite. Otherwise, my boomer mom will have to wait for her Chromebook upgrade.

I don't understand why they put touchscreens on laptops that cannot flip into a true tablet mode. I get that touch support is useful for Android apps, but it's not ergonomic to use a touchscreen in laptop mode. Do hinges really cost that much more?
