My phone doesn't have a uv light. During a power outage, I don't want to use up my phone's battery. The led on my phone is more of a very short range flood. I find when I want/need light, I need it several feet or more away, which a flashlight is more likely to provide.

The phone led is certainly handy but I find it limiting.

Amazon review probably sums it up best:

"Appreciate the nubs.
They're not tactical. They don't have a dozen settings. They turn on, they turn off. They feel a little cheap but they're nice and bright and thoughtfully designed with two little nubs to keep them from rolling around when laying down. They're perfect."

This is an excellent price . I was going to purchase it . Then it struck me that I don't use flashlights anymore. I use the flashlight on my phone whenever I need a light. Things change. I wonder if anyone is like me ? lol

I am one of those afflicted with a flashlight fetish I suppose. I can never have enough it would seem. That being said these pale in comparison to my collection so not buying these.

My current favorite budget friendly super useful EDC light would have to be the WarsunT7, about $15 state side or $5 from China. Super slim, very bright cob, nice magnet and cob array. Really Killer for $5!

Thank you for posting. I'm sure I have plenty of flashlights but can't recall where they are located lol Hoping to have these strategically placed this time around. LOL Have a great weekend.

Good for hurricane lights. I bought a 4 pack of pull top lanterns off Amazon for $15. Harbor Freight sells them for $5 each. Now we just need a sale on rechargeable fans and a huge power bank. Running the car for AC and charging the phones get old. Plus, my neighbors Civic and Chevy van was under an oak tree after the last hurricane in October. If the cars get crushed there is no recharging the electronics.

I mean if I need to look under a couch really quick or something phone light is perfectly fine.

Headlamps and flashlights are waaaay brighter and longer throw generally and you arent burning your phones battery down. Need to light up a room just put one of these in the middle of the floor etc and point to ceiling.

Every Keychain I have I have a small olight and Kershaw knife/bottle opener, they have came in handy so many times.

I just want a flashlight that turns on and off. I'm sick of these flashlights that have to go through 6 modes of operation before turning off. This is perfect.

Phone flashlights can get frustrating because the light is so widespread, these are the old school flashlights that you can use to see things across the room.
