Not for me. I can get 4k with Luna. Maybe its simulated, but some games support it in the video settings.
Stop hating. Ignorant post. Chromebooks have come a long way. Chrome OS nowadays are supported and receives updates as long as Windows. This laptop came out 2022. It is supported until 2032. That is 10 years. It is meant to be used for online gaming. Steam and Nvidia GE Force Now.
Admit it, there is a limit that chrome cant do but it is ok if you want one.
This one has the enhanced screen that most chromebooks do not have.
Newer Chromebook Plus laptops are just as capable as this. This is a 3 year old laptop with a nicer screen and an RGB keyboard. I believe this is the first labeled gaming chromebook. It is really for online gaming.
I bought this last year but returned it because I wanted something lighter. It is a chunky and heavy Chromebook. Don't expect the RGB keyboard to feel as good as a mechanical keyboard.
Nope! Firmware will only work for Chromebooks. If you want Windows then buy a Windows laptop. If you have older laptops or desktops, you can install Chrome OS flex. It's pretty easy to do. Look up Chrome OS Flex
No idea how well it may run though compared to a similar spec'ed native Windows laptop.

Also remember this gives a year of Gemini + 2TB Google storage
Ok. You guys like chrome book so much than get one for yourself. The hardware spec is there for you to compare. It is not a gaming laptop. You can use it for streaming but it is not a typical definition of gaming and i am pretty sure you know the difference based on your arguments.

*CLOUD*. As in, you pay for some server running a fancy GPU for you to stream it to this [relatively high] refresh rate and resolution, power-saving and cost-saving device. So, if this use-case works for you, you can do hi-end gaming on relatively low-end [but efficient] processing hardware, with a nice display and much better battery life.
This isn't for me, as I personally broadly loathe anything "cloud" based, including the dependency on Google/Chrome OS, for so many reasons I've lost count.
