Spectrum internet service is required to get started with Spectrum mobile service, but once you have the line activated on your account, you can still keep the mobile line active even if you cancel internet at a later time. What happens is the the mobile line switches to "stand alone" line pricing. For the line to be on its own without internet, you'll be charged $10 more per month on each line. The $20 pay-by-gig plan stays at $20. In your case, I'm not entirely sure if you cancel the internet after 60 days, if the "free line" promotion would stay free for the remaining duration, or if it would automatically switch to the standalone pricing. You can technically cancel internet service within 30 days, get money back guarantee on it and still keep the line. I would talk to customer service to make sure tho.

You should still be able to activate it and keep the line at stand alone pricing. I don't know if it would still keep the free line discount, since you no longer have internet. Best bet is call customer service have them activate, and check on the spectrum app if the line is still free or if switched to "stand alone" line pricing.

my credit showed up on my account this morning and I easily refunded it to the card I had set to autopay with a quick call, but it was only the $1005 amount and they didn't include the sales tax difference like they did with the S25s and Fold 6 deals... so that policy definitely changed in Florida

good to know for mail in trades. I think in store trades still refund taxes.

Tax is like $160 for most people. So there's no reason to do it online now. My tax was $60 in store.

Dope. Best bet is to call in those situation haha. Trust me, I used to be a sales rep for Spectrum, if a customer calls in about wanting to add a line due to a promotion, a sales rep will try his best to get the line added, they're not passing up free commission like that.

Hmm that cant be right, as you said, they refunded taxes for the S25 mail ins for me in FL in March. 1 of my 2 trade ins was just approved today but I don't see the credit on my account yet. I will definitely call to complain. Florida law has not changed in 4 months about this.
